When Innocent Blood Spills, And Media Calls It “Militancy” — Shame On You! On April 22, 2025, terrorists attacked innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. 26 innocent lives were butchered. Men, women, and children — brutally gunned down by monsters wearing army uniforms, holding AK-47s. They weren’t fighting a war. They weren’t freedom fighters. They were cowards who massacred unarmed civilians. Yet, when the world turned to major media outlets for truth, what did they see? Reuters, BBC, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, and others shamelessly called them “militants.” Militants? Militants don’t open fire on families visiting the mountains. Terrorists do. This is not journalism. This is betrayal. 26 families are today shattered forever. They lost fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters — some lost their entire families in seconds. Dreams destroyed. Futures crushed. And while their homes are drowned in sorrow, these so-called “neutral” media houses sit in air-conditioned newsrooms, playing with words like “militant” and “insurgents” to protect their global brand image. Shame on you. You think you are being “unbiased”? No, you are being soulless. When you refuse to call evil by its name, you are no different from those who committed the crime. Would you still call them “militants” if it were your family lying dead on the ground? Would you still hesitate to say “terrorist” if your child had been shot dead just because of his religion? If your daughter was slaughtered while taking selfies on the hills? If your brother never came back from his vacation? NO, YOU WOULDN’T. Because pain is real, loss is real, and terrorism is real.
