You can be globally compassionate as a person and still feel that your society should have careful borders and that local cultures matter, and should be preserved if they're clearly doing well.
These actually aren't in contradiction.
This wasn't a MSCI policy shift it was a financial assassination!
MSCI's largest shareholders benefit from $MSTR and @Metaplanet bleeding out as those juicy flows will make their way to BTC ETF's they benefit from.
Sorry @saylor @DylanLeClair apparently the insiders on Wall Street aren't taking new members at this time.
MSCI Largest Share Holders:
Black Rock - 7.52% - $IBIT
Vanguard Capital (+Portfolio) Mgmt - 6.39% & 5.73% - Holds 9% of Black Rock public shares sooo $IBIT
BAMCO - N/A
State Street - 4.39% - Owns 4% of BR, BR large stakeholder in them and historically has served as custodian for ishares etfs soooo $IBIT
Morgan Stanley - 2.93% - $MSBT
That's just under 27% of MSCI ownership right there!
*data provided by gemini
** I don't own $MSTR or @Metaplanet. I do hold $IBIT & $MSBT
NEW: Index giant MSCI finalizes rules to exclude $BTC treasury companies from its global indexes, putting @Strategy and @Metaplanet at risk of removal by November 30 which could trigger $2.8B in $MSTR outflows per @JPMorgan.

GLP-1s are Deflationary b/c Fat People are Inflationary
Having less fat people is a deflationary shock to most components of CPI (Headline more so and Core less so):
Housing - ❌
Transportation - ✅ - 18% reduction in passenger weight (avg weight loss on GLP-1) on a flight would require 3.5-5% less fuel. Would also affect automobile gas use.
Food (duh) - ✅
Medical Care (duh) - ✅
Apparel - ✅ - If a shirt is half the size it requires roughly half the raw materials
Other Goods & Services - ✅ - From less TP to less lotion for a smaller surface area
Countries that are both overweight and have financial or insurance resources to buy GLP-1s should see the biggest benefit ie USA
No disrespect to those over weight but Math is Math
