Sailor Moon was the top anime lot at Christie's first anime sale.
Ito Ikuko's Sailor Moon sketch sold for $88,900 with fees in March, almost 18 times its previous low estimate.
Only a couple more days left in the auction till Oct 22nd.

Akira cels are back at @ChristiesInc.
An Akira cel of Tetsuo, Kaori and Kaneda's bike made $73,200 at Heritage in May. A Kaneda bike cel sold there for $48,000 in 2023.
Christie's has one estimated at $5,000 to $7,000, closing Oct 22, but we expect it to go way higher.

A PSA 10 Mario Madness card sold for $7,700 on Oct 2. The last one sold for $372 in May 2025.
