ALT It was a calm spring afternoon. She was sitting in her favorite café with her markers and papers, working on a new project. She had ordered an iced coffee for herself, but had he had a choice, the chubby one would probably have ordered tea instead. She had met him in her city—a city where you could see mountains and chimney-topped houses. On one of her evening walks, the black cat came straight to her. From that very first moment, he chose her. Some friendships are simply meant to be. Now, he has become part of her evenings, her sketches, and the guardian of both her inner world and the city she calls home.
ALT Her Body, a Battlefield Have you ever felt the illusion of a shadow following you? Ask women, most carry that fear with them. This title is drawn from a play, and the artwork emerges from the fears and lived experiences of women in my society, experiences that resonate far beyond borders. A fear that, in some, transforms into strength, and in others, into rage. The female body is portrayed as a battlefield, etched with fear, violence, and resistance. It is not only a vessel of personal memory, but a testament to the collective experience of women confronting a ruthless world. These wounds are not signs of defeat, but traces of endurance. And art becomes their language, for breaking silence and building a safer future. This is a physical painting (colored pencil, oil-based thinner, and oil glaze) on cardboard. The concept was developed with the help of AI and Photoshop, then brought to life through traditional techniques.
