So $crown is just 100% dead and we all lost 99% of our money? @LaJollaFarmz
Gradients is one of the Bittensor subnets I actually seeing displacing real life workers and going mainstream.
I’ve had internal talks at my company about looking into Gradients but they’re still unsure about “decentralized Ai” only a matter of time until everyone gets onboard
$TAO showing strength here compared to all other alts. Soon everyone will no longer bucket it with the alts and realize it’s a different animal
Trying to connect with folks in the Bittensor ecosystem who are also in manufacturing. It’s my day job, and I’ve been brainstorming ideas to present to upper management, curious if anyone else has done something similar. $TAO #AI #Bittensor #Robotics
@maxscore who says we need to stop at sports with the vision system? Let's take on Manufacturing, the global machine‑vision market (for defect detection, inspection & smart cameras) is already a $10 billion market and projected to more than double by 2030. globalgrowthinsights.com/mar…

$TAO
Fair to say this is the biggest and most anticipated release in dTAO’s short history. Everyone has been saying Bittensor needs its Deepseek moment, let’s hope this is it
Wandering Weights is stepping back from leading Subnet 56, with Besim and Grads LLC taking over at Gradients.
It’s a reminder that decentralized systems depend on adaptive leadership, where roles evolve, and the mission continues through collective intelligence.
#Gradients #TAO
Leadership transitions like this show how decentralized ecosystems mature.
Founders step back when the foundation is solid.
Teams like Grads LLC step forward to scale the vision.
It’s not loss, it’s continuity through contribution.
#Gradients #Bittensor $TAO #AI
Bittensor isn’t just about decentralized compute — it’s about decentralized understanding.
Subnets like Nuance are teaching AI to evaluate reasoning, context, and nuance itself.
If Bitcoin decentralized money, Bittensor might decentralize intelligence. #Bittensor #Nuance #TAO
Root auto-sell becoming optional might seem small, but it changes incentives in a big way. Some will chase alpha baskets, while others will prefer stable TAO yield. It is a real time experiment in how decentralized economies self balance exposure and trust. #Bittensor $TAO
Buckle up $TAO Bulls:
Looking at Bitcoin’s first halving (Nov 2012): ~$12 → $24.50 by day 90 (+180%) $151 by day 150 (+1122%).
TAO is cooking today +22% and ~40 days to our halving I hope everyone is starting to pay attention. I know my bags are packed.
#Nuance248
After being a Bittensor supporter and investor for over 2 years now I'm finally going to give mining a shot. Already learned a lot just by setting up my miner and excited for more

There’s a certain satisfaction in watching centralized AI crack… Especially when you’re invested in the other side named $TAO.
I just read this article about the risks of centralized AI and inference by @DefiantNews, and one line hit hard:
“Every AI query today is an act of blind faith.”
You send data to AWS, Google, or Azure and just hope:
- They ran the model you asked for
- Your data wasn’t logged
- The price doesn’t spike next month
- One outage doesn’t take everything down
That might be fine when AI is a joyful playground, but not when it powers healthcare, finance, and our automated trading bots.
The article lays it out:
- 3 companies control 70% of cloud AI
- Cloud AI margins top 60%
- An AWS outage once caused $150M per hour in global losses
- GDPR fines can cripple organizations (which I’ve seen firsthand as a IRL business consultant).
And worst of all?
You can’t verify any of it. Just trust the output.
That’s why this stuck with me:
“Zero-knowledge proofs now let you verify AI computation without revealing the inputs or weights.”
It flips the model completely:
You no longer rely on blind trust. You can prove that inference happened correctly, without exposing your data.
This is the future of decentralized AI, and Bittensor is structurally positioned to lead.
Take two live examples of its Subnets:
@inference_labs (Subnet 2) runs real AI workloads on decentralized GPUs, with validators scoring outputs for quality. Models are rewarded based on performance, not access.
@MacrocosmosAI (Subnet 9) builds an open AI marketplace where inference routes to the most cost-effective, high-performing nodes. No centralized pricing, no vendor lock-in.
Most subnets don’t yet use zero-knowledge proofs, but they lay the foundation for what verifiable AI could look like.
As zkML scales, these networks could shift from just decentralizing AI to fully verifying it and unlocking entirely new levels of trust and adoption.
To conclude:
Centralized AI had its run.
Now it’s time for the networks we can trust because we can verify.
Bittensor is building the foundation for it:
Open, permissionless, and eventually provable.
🚨 Centralised AI is a house of cards.
☁️ AWS, Google, and Azure run your models — no proof, no privacy, no control.
🔐 Zero-knowledge proofs change the game: verifiable AI without revealing a single byte.
⚡️ Subnet 2 by @inference_labs makes it real.
