either that or they did damage control before the devices got checked
Crypto is a digital expression of the human mind.
Gain power (supply) and extract from others (sell)
No one wants to be late everyone wants to be early
The Problem is either we all fight to be on top or we create a system that is more fair towards everyone.

do you think that the dao should decide what happens with it?

I guess if it was intended for nft holders then thats where it should go. If holders of the nft shouldn't expect to get it cause someone else already won then the project shouldnt expect to take it cause someone already won it. Doesn't seem right and if theyre down to 50k then that wont last long anyways then there wont be anything left to take or use. Seems better to just pick 5 winners and give them 10k. Also shouldnt it be voted on through dao?

If its that low than I dont know if thats going to do anything

Ah why wouldnt they just keep picking someone new
Is Cedar (evergrow) taking the 50k for the evergrow man nft prize?
If 2 people dont claim it then they just take it?
🚨 VERY IMPORTANT CEDAR DAO UPDATE – PLEASE SHARE 🚨
As the Trusteeship continues its review of the DAO’s financial position following the period of Interim Committee control from May 2025 to 30 September 2026, it has become apparent that significant project resources were expended, much of which we do not yet have transparency on.
Our most pressing responsibility is therefore to dramatically reduce costs and preserve the remaining funds, giving Cedar DAO the longest possible operating runway.
This means ensuring we can continue the Foundation, maintain essential community functions and, importantly, remain operational so that if and when Cedar DAO’s allocated shareholding in Atlas Wallet acquires value, the community is in a position to receive and benefit from that value.
With this in mind, we are announcing two important changes:
1. CEDAR DAO MIGRATION CLAIMS WILL PERMANENTLY CLOSE ON 30 DECEMBER 2026
If you have not claimed your Cedar tokens from the EverGrow-to-Cedar migration by this date, they will no longer be available to claim.
This is not a decision we had hoped to make. However, maintaining the claim infrastructure and the security layers underpinning it is costing the community thousands of dollars each year. An updated security audit would also inevitably be required, potentially costing tens of thousands more.
This expense can no longer be justified for the very small number of outstanding claims, whose remaining monetary value is lower than the cost of continuing to maintain the claim infrastructure.
By the deadline, the community will have had more than 20 months to claim, which we believe represents a fair and reasonable opportunity.
If you have unclaimed tokens, please claim them as soon as possible. If you know somebody who may not have claimed, PLEASE SHARE THIS POST WITH THEM AS A MATTER OF URGENCY.
2. EVERGROW MAN NFT COMPETITION CLAIM PERIOD CLOSED
Almost two years have passed since the original competition winner was drawn.
The original winner was given a full year to claim their prize. Despite this not being required under the competition terms, a second draw was subsequently conducted, and that winner has now also been given approximately ten months to claim.
Given the urgent need to preserve Cedar DAO’s remaining resources, we cannot justify keeping this liability open indefinitely. Paying the prize now would materially reduce the Foundation’s remaining operating funds and significantly shorten its financial runway, despite the original claim period having long since expired.
The claim period is therefore now permanently closed. The funds will instead remain with the project and go directly towards supporting the continued operation of the Cedar DAO Foundation.
These are not decisions we have taken lightly. Our responsibility now is to protect the resources that remain, dramatically reduce unnecessary expenditure and give Cedar DAO the greatest possible opportunity to survive and ultimately deliver value back to its community.
