I am honored to considered this man a mentor of mine. I have not spent the amount of time on the mat that I would like with him, however he has been a huge inspiration, and he has spent time guiding me both while on the mats and off. youtu.be/4pQaT3_Opjo?si=cDsq…

This is why I am pro belt ranking for Western martial arts. It is a Western invention to have different levels and gradings.

People think it's the PEDs alone that will get the results.. but they still have to go put in the reps.. and even then.. people don't want to hear this. But to really excel at D&D, you need the right genetics. Without all 3, they'll never be a #EliteLevel #PowerGamer

I am teaching mixed martial arts at a second gym now in my hometown. This is a local karate dojo. They reached out and wanted to bring in MMA. Today was my first day and it went well. I am only doing 1 day a week currently. I might expand to 2 days.

I remember when this happened. I believe she got in trouble for this. Regardless. Good technique.

Female high school student who trained in MMA for 6 years vs. regular male high school student The male student posted malicious comments on the female student's Facebook, so she went to confront him → The male student splashed water on her → Fight begins

Have to watch the head on concrete when going for these takedowns. The choke here is king but you have to be careful there's no friends ready to soccer kick you. There were multiple moments the grappler almost went for an armbar but restrained due to wanting the choke.

Last year while visiting a friend of mine from out of state. I stopped in to one of his gyms open mats. This is having a friendly contest with the coach of the establishment.

I would like to eventually publish my wrestling curriculum. It's a hard task because it will always only be able to convey a sliver of the whole. Currently I am just trying to get the techniques codified (I have), and then organized into a 5 ranked system. (Still working on).

I have been asked to coach MMA at a small, family owned, local karate dojo. Just opened. I am unsure if I will pursue it. If I did, I would like to use the opportunity to do something different. Potentially focus on a Karate and Catch Wrestling hybrid. With a belt system.

WHEN FEDOR EMELIANENKO BEAT ABDULMANAP'S STUDENT Two MMA legends. One incredible moment. Fedor Emelianenko shakes hands with Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov after defeating his student, Akhmedshaikh Gelegaev, at the Russian Combat Sambo Championship in 2012. Gelegaev went on to record a 6–1 MMA record, while this moment captured two of the most influential figures in Russian combat sports sharing the same room. A glimpse into a different era of MMA.
