Thought I might right donkey Kong coaster. again, early afternoon, rainy morning tuesday.
Can’t see in the pics but holy shit the wait times in Nintendo World at USJ.
Single rider for Donkey Kong 190 min, regular standby 200(it was 180 at 2pm on Saturday).
Mario Kart 90 for single rider.
Not worth it for either of those rides
Damn, got to USJ at like 1pm today, the Biohazard (Resident Evil) haunted house was already done giving out “timed entry tickets” for the day. No standby line. Just a lottery to have a chance to get in later.
The zombie one is standby, decent, but kinda generic. I expect more houses based on IPs at Universal.
They only have the zombie one and Biohazard this year for haunted houses. As well as some upcharge horror experience which is already sold out for the whole season…
2 haunted houses and it’s hard to get into one of them. Pretty disappointed with #USJ Halloween horror nights #HHN15

Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness was a pretty cool ride.
About the tamest coaster ever but the theming was really cool.
But damn, I figured the ride was about halfway over and then it just ended…
Was it like 2 minutes long?
I think we waited like 2 hours.
Want to ride again but wouldn’t consider waiting that long, no would I recommend someone try it if the wait is that long.

Got a new annual pass for USJ. What a pain in the ass they made buying it. The ticket booths no longer exist. Have to buy online. The website was all in Japanese , that’s fine, still wouldn’t work with my American credit card.
Did some kind Visa card confirmation with my bank app, seemed fine. Still didn’t work.
Had to buy it at the Lawson near the park entrance…

Woke up hungry at 4am. Where else are you gonna be able to get a meal this good for this cheap takeout at 4am? Fried pork cutlet rice bowl. Cost me 650yen ($4.11 USD). Amazing.
One of my favorite chains only available in the Kanto(Tokyo) area. Hidakaya!
I can get a better bowl of ramen elsewhere, but it’s hard to get a better value.
