 Great leadership leaves an impact far beyond the walls of an organization, and yours has been felt throughout our entire Sun community. You understood that the Connecticut Sun has always been about more than basketball. It’s been about the fans who filled our home year after year. The families who made coming to games a tradition. The young girls who saw themselves represented on our court. The communities we were fortunate enough to serve. And every person who found a sense of belonging in being part of the Sun Fam. You both know what it means to wear a WNBA jersey, to compete at the highest level, and to understand everything that comes with being a player in this league. You carried those experiences with you as leaders, creating a connection with our players that went beyond the game. You understood them because you once stood where they stood, and you used that perspective to support, empower, and help pave the way for the women who came after you. Thank you for leading with heart, for understanding the responsibility of representing this community, and for giving so much of yourselves to the people who have loved the Connecticut Sun.☀️

Thank you for pouring so much of yourselves into this organization. For showing up for one another, for believing in what we were building, and for caring so deeply about this team and the people who call it home. This season asked a lot of our front office, and every step of the way, you bought into making this final chapter in Connecticut something our Sun Fam could enjoy, celebrate, and remember forever. You poured your hearts into every detail. Finding new ways to honor our history, celebrate the people who built it, create new memories, and make sure our fans felt the love they’ve given this organization for 24 seasons. Thank you for giving this season everything you had. For embracing every emotion that came with it and turning those emotions into moments our Sun Fam will carry with them.☀️
