I hopped on the bandwagon except Fable 5 actually made this in one shot: hovergame.jakeberg.xyz/

how quickly could we vibecode excell's replacement? even Sheets has gotten bloated. I hate that I can't just double click a .csv and open sheets (i know, there's probably some f**ing extension for that). anyway how is your day going?

Is it just me or does anyone else not want this. Maybe for remote areas.
An Amazon customer in Texas was not enthused when her first drone-delivered order was dropped into her swimming pool. After hearing the loud buzzing of the drone arriving, she ran outside to record the delivery, and to her surprise, it landed in her pool.

Awesome.
A really impressive set of Three.js graphics experiments just got open sourced, and these are much more than little visual demos. They are basically reusable procedural systems for oceans, vegetation, fluids and even whole planets. 🔹 Poseidon A real-time FFT ocean running on WebGPU. It simulates large swells, smaller ripples, foam, reflections, choppy displacement and physically inspired wave spectra entirely in the browser. github.com/owenyuwono/poseid… 🔹 Gaia A procedural grass generator where every blade, seed head and field comes from a deterministic genome and environmental parameters. No authored grass models. github.com/owenyuwono/gaia 🔹 Dryad A procedural flora system that generates trees and other plant forms from physics, environmental conditions and a seed. No authored 3D models or textures are needed for the plants themselves. github.com/owenyuwono/dryad 🔹 Tiamat A real-time GPU fluid simulation using around 100,000 SPH particles, with the resulting water rendered directly in the browser. github.com/owenyuwono/tiamat 🔹 Demiurge Probably the craziest one. It procedurally builds an entire planet from tectonic plates, then lets uplift drive erosion, erosion and latitude drive climate, and climate drive biomes, wind and weather. You can move seamlessly from orbit down to the surface. github.com/owenyuwono/demiur… What I really like here is that these are not just pretty outputs. They are actual building blocks. Ocean simulation, vegetation generation, fluid dynamics and procedural worlds are exactly the kinds of systems that can be plugged into games, simulations and agent-built 3D environments. cancelling @grok might have been the most time consuming thing i've done all week

I recently cancelled a software that was charging $3,000+ per year to (ideally) provide insight into my monthly finances. It quickly became confusing where they sold me more services I didn’t need and no one would give me a straight answer over simple features I needed.

Simple as that. Take it offline. Build it yourself. The future is ours if we build it.

PS. Although I built this app today it is the fourth or fifth time I’ve tried to make this product. AI is helpful but if you don’t practice or worry too much about failing then you’ll never make it through the third iteration.

Dear @Sonos, You should never have a long hold button to power something on and off that is also the Bluetooth Connectivity feature. Sincerely, Jake RE: my $400 headphones

I am curious about how restrictive @instagram has become regarding automation in the age of automation

Does anyone know how to stop the iPhone keyboard from hitting return Randomly in the middle of sentences?

.@Lovable this seems innacurate. my client was partially unable to edit their site today as well as numerous 404 errors crashing their app. as soon as this incident was over there were no more loading issues.

I’ve paid humans a lot more for a lot less.
The Bun rewrite in Rust would have cost about $165k in tokens if it was done over API

me: goes to check his new game deployed on @spacetimedb
SpacetimeDB is also inspired by Ethereum. You might not like cryptocurrencies, but no one gets woken up in the middle of the night because Ethereum is down. It has many desirable UX properties and is an actual distributed operating system.

and JUST like crypto you have the illusion of democracy with an even smaller cabal xitter.cf/VitalikButerin/status/…
Replying to @VitalikButerin
I was calling to stop trading to prevent the DAO hacker from cashing out their money, not to manipulate the market.
