The COMPACT Toolbox is Live!
The COMPACT programme is a partnership between PARI, @SALGA_Gov and @Act4Integrity. In 2026 the partnership culminated in the development of a toolbox which comprises a set of practical, accessible, and actionable tools that municipal stakeholders, CSOs and communities can use to improve planning, participation, and oversight in local government in South Africa.

Mzansi, your vote matters now more than ever. 🇿🇦
In the 2021 Local Government Elections, voter turnout was just over 45% a clear reminder that many voices were left unheard in shaping our communities.
Local government directly impacts service delivery, development, and the future of your community. When fewer people vote, fewer voices are represented.
As we move closer to the 2026 Local Government Elections, the power to shape your community starts with one simple step: registering to vote.
🗳️ Make sure you’re registered
📍 Check and update your address
✅ Be election ready: elections.org.za/pw/
Don’t sit this one out. Your voice, your vote, your future.
