Alright that's the hour. Many thanks to Alastair from @alvareputation for the excellent topic tonight #commschat
We'll turn to @alvareputation for any final thoughts before the hour is up? #commschat

I think some people are starting to crave different stories but brands will need to tread carefully when they making the decision on what to engage on or not. There was a convo earlier about April Fools and my gut would say to stay away from that #commschat
Topic 3: What topics or areas should brands not engage with during this time? #commschat

Good examples have been AstraZeneca making face masks, Dyson & Tesla ventilators and Mercedes breathing aids. Likewise, Pret’s free coffee and supermarkets’ dedicated shopping hours for NHS staff #commschat
(I've never seen Mary Poppins before (sacrilege, I know) but I am baffled as to why there's a wife and a nanny). Not-quite- #commschat
Topic 2: How should they engage with the current sentiments around healthcare workers and public health? #commschat
I wonder also how companies are faciltiating dialogue and the two-way comms between them and employees and customers, etc #commschat
And then, how the supplier relations will change as a result. Morrisons, for one is paying its suppliers in advance to ensure small businesses can carry on #commschat
Apologies there was a lot of comms-chat in that last tweet! #commschat
I wonder if, if this carries on, how companies will handle CSR comms and communicating with its communities #commschat

Here’s an infographic showing a ranking of thematically-grouped initiatives that generated the biggest cut-through with stakeholders in aggregate #commschat
What's been interesting to see is how all-encompassing the comms have been. It's literally everywhere, from every organisation #commschat
