Had some time to work on Spyagent for the C64. Here is some more rowdy action. Added particle shell casings, LOTS of new sound multiplexing, an extra eye color to the Agent sprite by tracking and changing the sprite color just for the 4 lines when the eyes get displayed.

I read Edward de Bono on brainstorming.
Richard and Ted came to my flat. We came up with Game Genie. $180m revenue.
Thanks Edward.

We nearly named Codemasters 'Computer Food'.
Putting a cassette in felt like feeding the computer.
Dad hated it, so we went with Codemasters.

🥔 A first encounter with Wild West Seymour tonight. A Speccy convo, but playable enough and packed with very meta charm (on level 1, you’re at the Codemasters office).
If you wanna tackle it CF style, the full solution and maps are in issues 32 and 33 (May/June ‘93).

Wilberforce was a late #C64 game, reviewed in Commodore Format in 1994 but missing for over 10 years before recovered by GTW. The game only sold a handful of copies due to dwindling support at the time.

Original C64 version used Sprites for the background meaning a vastly cut down play area and more limited scenery colours. Re-loaded is a total re-design and includes many level layouts that never made it to 8bit systems as well as brand new gfx themes. Every level now has it's own unique gfx sets - 80 so far! We have also created other game features to enjoy on your #C64!

32 years ago today Commodore went bankrupt.
It broke my heart at the time, without the Amiga I would never have achieved my dream. It opened doors in the industry for so many people.
Here’s to all the crazy, passionate people that gave us the most beloved computer ever made 🍻

I let a Commodore 64 run for three and a half days straight. 87 billion instructions, 303 billion clock cycles, 5.9 million candidate settings tested. It cracked an Enigma message in German without knowing a single character of the plaintext.
