I wasn't quite sure how I was going to feel watching a City game for the first time since the guilty verdict. But watching that yesterday - the smug smiles to the camera, the away fans waving cash around, the banners, chants. It's just all a hollow sham. The whole Premier League season is.
It can still be saved, just. But in truth we all know it's probably going to continue to drag for a few months at least before we get anything close to clarity.
So we'll see those scenes again and again this season because they are a great team with great players who are going to keep winning. It's just going to make such a mockery of this season.
Every goal, every celebration, every glance at the league table, you just ask yourself the same questions. What does it mean? What's the point of this all? What's the point of spending our money to watch?
Of course we will still do it and come kick-off of most games. (when City aren't playing in them), we'll probably forget about it and get caught up in what we're watching.
But then the full-time whistle will go and it will start all over again.
So many seasons/moments have been lost for millions of fans around the world already because of what they've done and this season is going to be no different. Such a shame.

Just because we agree the rules then lie and cheat to give ourselves an unparalleled structural advantage to have all desired resources, accumulating the most ridiculous First XI/squad that money can buy but our opponents cant, thereby making the PL a non-competition for multiple seasons at a time...doesn't mean we cheat when we're on the pitch.

How long is the stench of the “sham” going to corrode the meaning, worth, and very essence of the Premier League?
Listening to commentary about Manchester City’s players matching the defiance of their ownership and triumphing in adversity.
Listening to fans chorusing the names of the men running the club, wearing masks or displaying banners of their faces and jibing: “We’re Man City, we’ll cheat when we want.”
Victory being framed as “a lovely moment,” a show of togetherness as though some grave injustice has been imposed on City, rather than their hierarchy being found by an independent commission to have orchestrated financial doping on an industrial scale.
Their opponents and the rest of us wondering if any of this actually matters now and how much of it ever did?
There can be no business as usual pretence. We need a full stop to the absurdity.

When you see Erling Haaland scoring and the City fans celebrating as if the club has been persecuted and not been found to be the biggest cheats in football history, you understand why everything that now happens - a continued product of the cheating - badly stains the league

Took the moral high ground for years saying “wait for the verdict” then spent weeks saying “we have to trust the ownership”
Now blatantly being shameless. When the charges land, dont let these scummy fans do the “I cant believe our ownership lied to us” gimmick. Sham 😂😂😂😂😂

This was Arséne Wenger's Arsenal strongest Starting Lineup when Abu Dhabi purchased Manchester City in 2008.
In 2008, Arsenal Football Club were valued at £600m and Manchester City valued at £200m.
Over the next 6 years, Manchester City had signed 50% of the outfield players from this very Arsenal team on massive wages, unaffordable to Arsenal.
➖ Gael Clichy
➖ Bakary Sagna.
➖ Kolo Toure
➖ Emmanuel Adebayor
➖ Samir Nasri
All financed by illegal financial doping.
When you hear about Premier League teams preparing to sue Manchester City for damages if City loose their appeal, you will think those clubs are just jealous of City's recent success.
It's not about being jealous, Manchester City really stepped on other Club's toes while building their own history.

Nearly £1bn worth of financial fraud while Arsène broke his back keeping Arsenal financially afloat.
Disgusting doesn’t begin to cover it.
I want them out of the league as soon as possible.

There is not a single other manager in world football I believe could have, and would have, accepted the conditions Arsene had to work under, which he did in order to place us in the ultimate position to compete financially when he was gone, with our new stadium. The GOAT
🚨Arsène Wenger didn’t build Arsenal by trying to outspend Chelsea or Man United. He built them by scouting, developing and improving players.
🔸While the Emirates project placed huge pressure on Arsenal’s finances, Wenger still kept the club competing at the top.
Henry,Vieira,Cesc,Van Persie,Cole,Touré,Walcott,Adebayor and Clichy.
🔸He turned talent into world-class players and built the Invincibles without a financial arms race.
🔸Wenger understood something simple: short-term success should never destroy the club’s long-term future.
🔸That’s why his legacy is bigger than trophies.
🔸He helped build a sustainable Arsenal with an identity and millions of fans around the world.
That’s Arsène Wenger. The Arsenal Legend. ❤️

Most people don’t take issue with owners putting money into their football clubs. But it should be by investing in the local community, club infrastructure and the academy etc. to build the club and deliver long-term, sustainable success - which is what every other club has spent a century trying to do. Committing fraud to accelerate your club’s growth isn’t fair, and will also leave gaps. It’s why City/Chelsea cant fill out their stadiums/parades despite the trophies they’ve won. It takes generations to build a big and successful football club with a fanbase to match. That can’t be faked.

Black kit for Man City’s funeral. Class club.
The Arsenal third shirt for the 2027/28 season will be primarily black.
Adidas want to display the message ‘fashion-forward’ with them set to make the shirt something you can wear outside of football.

Mentality monster Rodri with less Premier League title than Rob Holding
Rodri: “I think the difference was here [the mentality]. When @Arsenal came here at the Etihad, I saw them. Ah, these guys, they don’t want to beat us, they just want to draw. And that mentality, we wouldn’t do it the same way…” [via @OptusSport]
