“PFP’s are dead”, right? Yesterday's Denizens drop from @Zeneca and @ZenAcademy proved that idea dead-wrong. And today the entire community is stoked with their new PFPs, without any of the controversy we’ve seen on every recent drop from a major NFT teams. How? Easy, they built the community over two years without one. In fact, the simple use of the 🔮 emoji served the same purpose, and they raised funds in other ways - by running an information business. And now this new PFP is a fantastic example of taking care of your community. It goes to show that a fresh take can be found on most things, by identifying what it’s really for: in this case, it’s community signalling. If you’re building a community, it’s worth thinking about how many different ways there are to achieve this (and yes, you can absolutely make your whole project on Collectify 😉) So what do you think of this the Denizens?
