This is a fake card. This hobby is cooked if the wrong people start making these

To put this into perspective for other TCG players:
- Yesterday it was pointed out that 1 set will have less events, and Riftbound has prize cards tied to each set that rotate out
- This was addressed THE NEXT DAY by the game’s staff, solving the issue
You just don’t see this level of transparency in any other TCG.
I’m PRAYING that Riftbound’s success pressures every other TCG to have even a fraction of this level of transparency, it’s one of the biggest reasons why I got into the game as someone that’s played TCGs for 15 years.

Project K Card Comparisons Some supply numbers are estimated.
This was quickly put together, I used Jinx because her prices are the highest. I didn't put all ENG in because it's hard to find recent data. Nor could I put every hero (but there's also interesting info there for certain champions/legends).
Anyway, I don't want to comment much beyond I think there's a lot of inefficiency in Project K / early Riftbound and very obvious future grails people are just plain sleeping on.
Yes, a few are from the 2024 Trial Decks.
.@garyvee: "I've been in a 7-10 week cocoon around collecting becoming the next lifestyle genre."
"I think it's about to completely blow the roof off."
"I believe in 10 years, every Fortune 500 consumable product — apparel, CPG — will have a collectibles marketing strategy."
"You saw lines around the door at Popeye's for the One Piece collectible. People flooding to a Dodgers game to get the One Piece collectible."
"Differentiation in an AEO/GEO, agentic commerce world around collectibles and community to get people to stop their normal pattern of what they're just reordering — because they want to buy a deodorant that has a collectible of their favorite [entertainment thing]."

Riftbound can be the #2 TCG to Pokemon in the coming years.
Riot has so many levers they can pull to grow and they aren’t cornered into a box where they need to be concerned about catering to children.
Launch an online client? Boom, hundreds of thousands of new players added to the market.
Launch an online client and incentivize with League skins? Boom, millions of new players added to the market.
Launch an online client, incentivize with League skins, blend the physical and digital by offering physical card rewards to those who perform well on the online ladder? Boom, they’ve created the future of gaming.
Riot MMORPG? Boom, all eyes on their IP.
New Arcane seasons? Boom, all eyes on their IP.
I don’t think any other IP outside of Pokemon has the runway Riot has with Riftbound, the question is - how much of this is already priced in?
A brand new TCG commanding the prices that Riftbound already is is uncharted territory.

August brings the T1 lottery, followed by the Korean launch in September. In October, we're expecting the release of Radiance alongside the return of K/DA. On October 31, the game celebrates its anniversary, and an Anniversary Box will likely be released.
Then comes Worlds 2026 in New York, one of the biggest esports events in the world, with a Worlds 2026 Box also expected. Jynxzi is expected to attend, and there's a good chance MrBeast will be there as well. He attended the last Worlds held in the United States in 2022 and has said he still plans to own a League of Legends esports team in the future. And finally, don't forget the rumored Grok 5 vs. T1 showmatch. If Elon Musk is involved, it's almost certain to attract massive attention.
Stole this from a youtube comment, actually a great short term thesis
