the worst part about every single agent harness i've used is their interface.
poor UX, poor usage of the entire screen... i have like 60% of my screen unused trying to read pages of output, throw me a fucking bone here.
you're being fed worse slop than ai slop:
* muted color scape looks cliche and boring
* font selection is absolute TRASH
* real estate usage is worse with no benefit
* charts used for pace/heart are retarded and again no benefit (future data???)
* only enhancement is the menu
i've felt this way my whole life... always thinking about a problem to solve... i usually have a laptop in front of me or a PC i can stand or sit at in every room so I don't ever feel disjointed from my thoughts.
it's like stopping to take a note, but instead you fix something.
I've noticed something about myself since AI became part of my life.
I used to be able to sit down and watch a movie. I could lie in bed on a Sunday morning and sleep a little longer without an alarm clock.
Now I constantly think about what I could automate, optimize, or make more efficient.
Supposedly, that's a good thing because I'm no longer falling into the laziness trap.
But sometimes I wonder whether I've lost that part of myself that knew how to be human.
remember wish dot com? i feel like temu instantly kicked it to the curb.
still an aliexpress guy tho!
everytime i see a cook with gloves on, i get even more grossed out than if they were bare handed...
it's to keep THEIR hands clean, not to keep what they touch clean.
hell yeah!
now i'm glad i chose @OpenRouter as my router and aggregator!
love to see it!
a huge thank you to @OpenRouter for giving me a credits grant to continue research expanded further than just samsung TVs.
it's already being put to good use. all common household devices will ameliorated before morale improves.
it gives me whiplash hearing someone sandwich religious zeal between taboo language.
it gets so incredibly awkward like "bro YOU don't even know who you are."
tell me you're an entry level dev without telling me you're an entry level dev
99.9% of my career has been "i want <xyz>, can you do it?" and i make the company thrive.
Replying to @LukeParkerDev
eh, this has its blows too. asking for an outcome can return a suboptimal implementation.
and with ai it's so much easier! I have 2 dependencies across 7 projects, and it's just lit and it's html package.
been saying this for about 2 months now...
i've been treating my agent like i'm a downright idiot, and it's killing it.
and i keep mentioning how non-tech companies I've advised are regularly pulling off some kick ass stuff that automates 8mo of work into 1 hour.
ooh weird, never seen this before... model went haywire! there's tens of thousands of lines of this.... oops!
