Our whole core team had a great time at the @codeforamerica Summit! We're excited to put all the new ideas we learned to use.
Also, congrats to @mpbrown716 & @harshitagirase for winning a 2019 Community Fellowship!! 馃帀

Was @codeforamerica #BrigadeCongress really over a month ago? Well in the spirit of the season, #thankful for the incredible #civictech community of friends and supporters dedicated to the public good, both across the country and here in #Buffalo!
ALERT: a herd of Buffalo civic techies have been spotted in a stampede to Charlotte for #CfABrigade #BrigadeCongress @codeforamerica. Beware that Buffalonians are easy to befriend and individuals who do so might get a sticker... while supplies last!
Our very 1st deliverable! 馃 Created an interactive map for @PUSHBuffalo of nearby city auction lots. Still some polishing to do, but it's a milestone for our #CfABrigade nonetheless! 馃帀 Made with #JupyterNotebook and @OpenDataBuffalo
Thank you to @Andrea_O_S from @PPGBuffalo for speaking with us last week about a bunch of civic tech projects! From a court watch system for bail reform to mapping housing costs and displacement in real time, we're excited to get to work towards a better Buffalo!
Last night we welcomed Oswaldo Mestre of @MayorByronBrown's Citizen Services which led @OpenDataBuffalo and runs programs like #311 and Clean Sweep. Great discussions on #civictech and #opendata to improve services! We're thankful to have Oswaldo as a champion in City Hall! 馃挭馃徔
