The problem with sprints: Sprints create a constant sense of hurry. Constantly feeling rushed is a big problem: ❌Hurts intrinsic motivation ❌Reduces creativity ❌Rushes code reviews ❌Encourages short-term thinking ❌Leads to gaming estimates ❌Incentivizes self-centeredness

From my experience with sprints, that tweet hit home. Sprints do cause a sense of urgency and that does hurt creativity and brings about what was highlighted. Organizations need to do more to optimize their processes to lessen/eliminate these negatives.

I see sprints as part of developing a culture of communication and improvement not urgency. I think the intent of the agile manifesto is toward momentum not pressure - agilemanifesto.org/
