239 years ago today, 39 men signed a document that starts with three words: “We the People.”
Not we, the government. Not we the powerful. We the People.
Happy Constitution Day. 🇺🇸

Last night, Congress passed the War Powers Resolution on Iran.
This is a great step toward ending endless wars, as most Americans seek to reduce America’s footprint in the Middle East and bring our troops home.

He ran toward danger. For his neighbors, his community, and his country.
As a National Guard Soldier, CVA’s @JohnByrnes13 was at Ground Zero after the World Trade Center was attacked to save survivors and recover those we lost.
That tragic day changed him for the rest of his life.
This is his story.

What better way to kick things off than to have @JohnVickFL and Jenn DePew on the local airways? 🔊

It is projected to take until potentially 2030 to replenish US munitions to pre-war levels. Additionally, 42 aircraft and systems have been lost to the conflict.

The process started in 2022 and kept going right up until now that the process is complete. That’s how long this process takes. Changes to the ratings schedule have occurred 11 times since 2009 and that money was all lost. We can’t let that happen this time.

Some organizations have raised concerns.
We hear them.
But rejecting TCAVA because of the offset means walking away from The Major Richard Star Act relief, caregiver support, survivor protections, and better healthcare — with no viable alternative path currently on the table that can pass PAYGO rules.
If the savings are happening anyway, they belong to veterans — not the Treasury. That is the practical, veteran-first choice.

We can still pass this bill this year!
My family and I support TCAVA with every once of energy that I have (we have) .
I don't know where the VFW can say, "MRS Family does not support TCAVA".... I have urged congress to pass TCAVA (and the MRSA) numerous times. Spoken along side of members of congress, make thousands of posts/replies. YES WE SUPPORT TCAVA
