Want to ask for something extra? Address the other person’s concerns first. When asking for a free hotel suite upgrade, acknowledging how much trouble it could cause can help put them at ease. Once they feel comfortable, they may be more willing to see what they can do.

In a job interview, ask these two questions. The first shows you want to contribute to the bigger picture. The second recruits an unofficial mentor who has a vested interest in your success.

Please don't make us wait so long for season 3....please ....I'm already 55 and may only have 20-30 years left to live and I'd like to see all the books turned into seasons but at this rate we'll all be dead before that happens. Also, Landry had it coming.

Head Coaches that say, "my door is always open," might notice that their office is still empty.
That's because players and staff are still considering your mood, time of day, the team's record, their last interaction with you, how they are performing, and if you've eaten before they approach you.

"We're going to get beat on the ball. That's why we have help defense."
I've always hated this mindset.
But here's what bothers me even more:
We spend hours teaching help rotations when a defender gets beat. And almost no time teaching that defender what to do next.
There are at least 4 recovery skills we're neglecting.
I broke them down here 👇

Our 3 Flat Nail Screen breakdown looks at how a stationary screener creates coverage confusion, limits ball support, and puts switches under pressure.

🔎Interesting concept from Hapoel Tel Aviv coach Dimitris Itoudis in the 118-88 EuroLeague win over Anadolu Efes: Spain pick-and-roll into Rifle action. Blakeney sets the back screen for Wainright, Bryant hits Oturu with a skip pass, then Oturu and Blakeney execute a handoff. Blakeney finishes, and another bucket puts him on track for a 35-point night 👇
