Iāve had the opportunity in my life to work with some phenomenal men, men who helped me achieve great things, men Iāve went to war with to those men I say Happy National Coaches Day few know what that really means.

Well it is FIRE THE COACH and DEGRADE THE PLAYERS time of the season. The comments are so nasty and not what being a true fan is all about. This all changed with the advent of social media which has given ācourage ā to many . My advice is to be positive, because your current behavior is embarrassing your parents.

Mike Shanahan shares the truth about coaching that nobody talks about.
"If you're in coaching, the journey is never easy, but you've got to fight through it. You're going to have the highest highs and the lowest lows."
"Tough times don't last, tough people do."
That's the reality - there will be ups and downs.
To accomplish anything, you need resilience and grit to get there.
The journey isn't supposed to be easy - it's supposed to be worth it.
One of the coolest professional moments of my coaching career! #StayCocky
5 years ago today, FCS Jacksonville State beats Florida State on last second hail mary and they took home $400,000. Mike Norvell is still the head coach for the Seminoles.

Freaking chills man! This game takes so much from you but it also gives so much back. No matter what else I may do in life, I am a BALL COACH and there is no greater calling.
Jacob Rodriguez is emerging as one of THE leaders on Miami Dolphinsā defense, Miami Dolphins FB DJ Herman revealed on @TheDiveBarPod āļø
āJust the way he practices and just the way he works. He has a motor⦠he brings the energy everyday, he leads that defense. Even vets look up to him because of the amount of work he puts in.ā #PhinsUp

DEBATE IS OVER, for everyone crying and complaining āitās not even about West Virginiaā since it became a National Story in May.
"Take Me Home, Country Roads," a song about a longing for home (co-written by a songwriter who had never even been in West Virginia), has been embraced by the Mountain State in a big way, and has since been appropriated by singers around the world looking for their very own "place I belong."
@conorknighton looks into the genesis and global impact of John Denver's first big hit; and with country star Brad Paisley about the special pull the song has for him. (Originally broadcast Dec. 26, 2021.) cbsn.ws/4pdRDku

The trade is the trade.
Nobody forced you into it.
If you chose football, you chose early mornings, sore legs, long lifts, hard coaching, hot summer workouts, and the expectation that youāll show up ready to work whether you feel like it or not.
Too many people want the rewards of the trade without accepting the cost of the trade.
The truth is simple: the price was listed before you signed.
So stop complaining about what comes with the job. Embrace it. Own it. Attack it.
The trade is the trade.
