Bloomberg funded the State Impact Center to have fellows appointed to state Attorneys General, paying their salaries to prosecute energy providers.
NYU was the fiscal sponsor.
Under investigation, last month, the Center just vanished.

"What we find here is less than innocent. Michael Bloomberg made a donation to NYU to act as the fiscal sponsor to the State Impact Center that then paid his people to operate within the AG offices in 11 states to influence the agenda and implement his climate lawfare strategy."

Supreme Court climate showdown jolted by Alito's last-minute decision
The Supreme Court justice did not explain, while Elena Kagan faces separate recusal calls over a judicial climate chapter.

Bowing to pressure from green groups, Justice Alito recuses himself days before SCOTUS hears the Suncor Energy v. Boulder County case which will decide whether states and counties can sue the energy industry. But:
"Justice Alito has not reported financial ties to Suncor Energy, the oil company at the heart of the dispute, nor to any other company directly involved in the case."
Justice Alito's recusal should not affect the outcome of the case but you never know. If he is recusing himself because he has other fossil fuel investments, then all the justices and every federal and state judge should recuse themselves from climate cases— because, whether they realize it or not, every government employee is an investor in fossil fuel companies.
