$CTV.V / $CTVFF is not trying to build a fluorspar business in the middle of nowhere. Its Illinois–Kentucky projects sit roughly:
⚛️ 52 miles from Metropolis Works — the only U.S. UF₆ conversion facility, operating again since 2023
🧪 40 miles from Arkema’s Calvert City fluorochemicals plant
🏠80 miles from the Clarksville zinc smelter
These facilities are not announced customers of CTV — but the map reveals something many junior projects lack: strategic geography.
CleanTech is attempting to revive domestic fluorspar supply inside an existing industrial corridor. At the same time, its website says less than 10% of the land package has been explored, despite more than a dozen fluorspar deposits and 745+ historical drill holes.
The market usually focuses on the rock. Here, I believe the location could matter just as much — especially as the U.S. rebuilds its nuclear-fuel, semiconductor and advanced-manufacturing supply chains.

CleanTech’s newly announced financing could provide the company with up to $1 million in additional gross proceeds as it continues building a portfolio focused on supplying critical minerals from within the United States.
The company holds an option to acquire more than 17,550 acres of mineral rights containing historical fluorspar resources across multiple projects in the Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar District. It also owns a 100% interest in Nevada’s Gibellini Vanadium Mine Project.
Under the proposed offering, CleanTech may issue up to 10 million units at $0.10 each. Every unit includes one common share and one three-year warrant exercisable at $0.15.
The company also confirmed that its previously announced private placement has closed with aggregate gross proceeds of $433,033.37.

Last year, I had a multibagger trade with CleanTech Vanadium Mining (TSXV: $CTV.V / OTCQB: CTVFF), right at the breakout level. I don't have a position (yet) but they're trading at support, and the fluorspar market has a strong fundamental setup. It's a commodity niche with tremendous future potential, but still pretty much fully under the radar.
But before the story, the chart. Three things sit on top of each other right now on the weekly chart:
· a horizontal support level at 0.11 CAD the stock has come back to repeatedly since 2023
· the 100-week and 200-week moving average at 0.10
· the downtrend line off the September 2025 high
Three lines converging, on volume that has thinned out since spring. Falling volume in a correction is what you want to see as a contrarian.
Back then the chart had a similar shape, a descending channel, and the price pressed into the bottom of it.
And given what I fundamentally see happing in this niche... there is only one domestic competitor and it's pointing upwards already called Ares. Based on what I calculated last year their supply potential leaves a lot of room for competitors.
Cleantech has a private placement open at 0.11 CAD, probably the reason for the lag. Once it closes, upward pressure could emerge here as well.
Now the actual detail which is the part that matters most. Fluorspar is a mineral the United States does not produce a single tonne of.
Not "not enough". None. They import everything.
It sits inside every semiconductor fab, every nuclear reactor and every lithium-ion battery. Not as a nice-to-have, but as chemistry with no substitute. Take it away and the fab stops, the reactor has no fuel, and the battery has no electrolyte. 🧵

The US is still 100% import-reliant. That makes CleanTech’s growing position in the historic Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar District look increasingly valuable, and exceptionally well timed. And with an exciting drill program ahead, the story may only be getting started.
