Clean Fuels thanks Sens. @ChuckGrassley and @amyklobuchar for introducing bipartisan legislation to extend the Small Agri-Biodiesel Producer Credit through 2029. “Small biodiesel producers support rural economies, creating good-paying local jobs and investing in growth opportunities. Right now they are a critical source of lower-cost distillate fuels that can give farmers relief from prices at the pump – and a higher-value return on this year’s soybean harvest.” - @kovarikdc The credit has been a lifeline for small producers over the last year, helping them secure feedstocks and ramp up production to meet current demand as they await final rules on 45Z. bit.ly/4yHaIjj

U.S. soybean crush continues to gain momentum. New @USDA data show processors crushed 221.9 million bushels in July, the highest monthly total since March and 8.2% above July 2025. Domestic soybean crush has now exceeded year-ago levels for 17 consecutive months, reflecting continued investment in U.S. processing capacity and stronger markets for American farmers thanks to the #RFS. More crush means more homegrown feedstocks for clean fuels. According to the latest @EIAgov data, clean fuel production used 1.55 billion pounds of soybean oil in June alone. That’s nearly as much soybean oil as the industry used during the entire first year of the Renewable Fuel Standard in 2005. #BetterCleanerNow

The executive committees of Clean Fuels and @ASA_Soybeans came together at the @FPShow in Boone, Iowa, this week to discuss a shared priority: growing demand for American-grown feedstocks to support the expanding markets for #biodiesel, #renewablediesel and #SAF. Strong partnerships across agriculture and #cleanfuels are essential to advancing our common interests. By bringing industry leaders together, we can identify opportunities, build on our shared strengths and work together to create new markets and opportunities for American farmers. We appreciate the collaboration and support of our industry partners and the opportunity to connect with farmers throughout the week. #connectedenergy #FPS26
