It's been around a month since @SierraClub said the union was spreading false information about potential layoffs - and, you guessed it, since then they have laid off and locked out dozens of our members (in direct violation of our contract) as well as unrepresented staff.

Our 🚨new report🚨 shows that TWO THIRDS of idle wells are owned by @Chevron @AeraEnergyLLC & California Resources Corporation.

Corporations are stealing our democracy by spending millions of dollars on their deceitful referendum campaigns. We need #AB421 to return one of California’s most powerful direct democracy tools - the referendum - to the people.

The @SoCalGas rate increase public forum was mind blowing. The desperation by the callers, who all blamed SoCalGas' greed, was palpable. It's no surprise that people want the new rate increase rejected and SoCalGas investigated. Where is @GavinNewsom @AGRobBonta @CityAttorneyLA?

ALT People hold a large white banner reading "INVESTIGATE SOCALGAS" at a Porter Ranch intersection at the start of the Aliso Canyon gas blowout in 2015. This demand to investigate SoCalGas is still relevant today as customers demand accountability for high gas bills and an investigation into SoCalGas' price gouging and market manipulation.

Only two refineries in California still use MHF: the Torrance Refinery and the Valero Refinery in Wilmington.
There is no safe way to use MHF.
It's long past time for these refineries to phase out MHF and switch to the safer alternatives every other refinery in the state uses.

8 years ago today, there was a massive explosion at the Torrance Refinery. Shrapnel narrowly missed a tank of modified hydrofluoric acid.
If the MHF in that tank had been released, a toxic low hanging cloud could have killed anyone who came into contact with it. #BanMHF
