I was pleased to meet with @ClaudeWiseler in Luxembourg.
In recent years, Luxembourg's Parliament @ChambreLux has adopted a number of crucial decisions in support of Ukraine, from recognising the 1932–1933 Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people to condemning systematic human rights violations against Crimean Tatars in temporarily occupied Crimea.
I underscored the importance of Ukrainian-Luxembourgish parliamentary cooperation.
We discussed concrete steps: increasing military and energy support for Ukraine ahead of winter, stepping up sanctions pressure on the aggressor, and holding Russia accountable to achieve a lasting peace for Ukraine and all of Europe.
Grateful to Luxembourg for its continued support and solidarity. 🇺🇦🤝🇱🇺

I thanked Luxembourg for its unwavering support for 🇺🇦 since the first days of 🇷🇺’s full-scale invasion, from military & humanitarian assistance to reconstruction efforts.
Our discussion focused on Ukraine’s 🇪🇺 accession process & the next steps towards opening the 1st negotiating cluster. Despite the challenges of war, UA remains firmly committed to delivering on its reform agenda & meeting its obligations on the path to EU membership. We highly value Luxembourg’s continued support for these efforts🤝

We greatly value the support Luxembourg has provided to the Ukrainian people during russia’s full-scale aggression.
We discussed the opening of negotiating clusters. Our country remains committed to its choice – to be part of the EU. The @ua_parliament demonstrates this by adopting the necessary legislative decisions, particularly those aimed at moving closer to European standards.
