Police in Colorado shot and killed a woman who was 7 months pregnant just for driving away in fear after they wrongfully accused her of shoplifting. The DA declined to charge the cops who killed Destinee Thompson and her unborn child. Her family is suing for justice.

Tucson BP & AZ DPS initiated high speed chases, killing 1 person & injuring 2 others. During the chase BP also spiked a vehicle that was uninvolved, injuring at least 2 more people.

See 4 first & don't be asking "helpful" white orgs. Ask those run by the people. This isn't the time for you to get ur wildfire badge. Even helpful bodies take up critical hotel space needed for patients. There are many ways to help, they all start with listening to the ppl.
Cody Toussaint was brutally beaten by cops @ Watkins Jail, Maricopa County, 4/21/21. Cody asked for help bc his pants were falling making it difficult to walk.
Cops instead beat him causing severe physical disabilites & emotional trauma.
Help Cody get justice.

There’s currently 5 active police brutality cases in Memphis. The most recent happening this week where a police officer killed 19 year old Courtney Ross.
This is beyond ridiculous. Memphis Police have proven they can’t operate without killing people. They gotta go.

The message from Maui community is loud and clear: cancel your vacation and travel plans. Lāhainā needs time to heal and regenerate, and Native Hawaiians and local communities must be centered in the rebuild. Not realators, developers, and tourists. Lāhainā isn’t for sale.
The devastation in Maui after shocking wildfires is clear. There are still hundreds of people missing and unaccounted for. And there are thousands of people who have lost their homes and livelihoods - and desperately in need of aid and shelter. So does it surprise you to know, there are still tourists on Maui, having a vacation, just kilometres away from the search for bodies and the distribution of aid? Officials in Hawaii and residents are now on social media, urging people to cancel their vacations and stay away from Hawaii at this time. We spoke with @uahikea, Assistant Professor of Indigenous Politics at @UofT, with more.
