The Representation Project: NGO founded by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, CEO, in 2011.
(TRP) encourages indoctrination and grooming by introducing LGBTQ and transgender ideology to children K-12.
TRP provides explicit guidance on trans ideology and being a "trans ally." TRP propaganda films produced by Mrs Newsom, Miss Representation, The Mask You Live In, The Great American Lie, and Fair Play - about white privilege, oppression, and gender equity - are distributed to 5,000 schools nationwide, reaching 2.6 million children.
Licensing fees are estimated at $1.48 million from public schools since 2012. California public schools are paying $270 to $600 per film or curriculum package, targeting tender children from K-12.
Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB 1955 in 2024. It terminates parental rights and compels sexualized curriculum that is not age-appropriate to be taught to children in primary education in California public schools.
The project's films have been licensed for use in some California schools. Critics have noted financial ties to Siebel Newsom's NGO during the tenure of Tony Thurmond, State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
