I’m not opposed to the idea of student housing coops but whenever I see someone praise the Edinburgh SHC, I shudder. As someone who used to live there, it was far from the haven that some try paint it to be. Good idea in theory, just very poorly executed by the ESHC.

Big transport announcement from John Swinney: By the end of this Parliament, the SNP will use franchising and regulation to bring Scotland’s bus network back into public control. Also announced that from April, bus fares across Aberdeen and the North East will be capped at £2.
