The $VIX (and VIX futures) are holding up quite well despite today's epic rally to all time highs.
That could be a sign something ominous is brewing under the surface.
Plus today is options expiration, and nothing has really changed regarding the US-Iran conflict, despite all the headlines.

Not trading/financial advice.
Simple math suggests that a 400 million release by the @IEA is a very temporary solution, perhaps only good for a few weeks.
This could be why @CMEGroup WTI bounced slightly on the news.

If you are looking for a primer on US-Saudi-Iran relations, this documentary by @PBS is a great place to start.
The doc is from 2018, but absolutely not outdated. The rivalry between Saudi Arabia and Iran's ancestors dates back to 7th century during the time of the Prophet Muhammad.
It's been several years since I last watched it, perhaps it's time for a rewatch. - Chris

I would be quite leery about buying @CMEGroup #silver at current levels, as the trend continues sideways while volume on the front-month contract (currently March but rolling to May this week) has all but died.
From a technical viewpoint, recent price action has formed what chartists call a “bear flag” which typically portends lower prices.
Though this bear flag suggests prices could dip to $35/oz, I am not that bearish and estimate prices could slump to $45 to $50/oz before finding new support.
As always, this is just an opinion, and not financial advice. Stay safe and prudent! - Chris
