Human + Tech Week - Telosa joins Future City Panel
Summit | June 17th - 19th San Francisco
Excited to share that one of our Senior Advisors, Tom Rossman, will join an expert panel at the Human + Tech Week Summit in San Francisco on June 19! He will be in conversation alongside Kent Larsen (Director, MIT City Science) and Sarah Farad (Director, Urban Design and Strategy for The Line at NEOM) to explore bold new frameworks for city living—bridging public health, urban design, systems innovation, and emerging tech.
Together with other visionaries, they will reimagine how cities can elevate wellbeing, adaptability, and unlock human potential in an era shaped by AI. They will also emphasize the importance of leading with people to ensure a higher quality of life and greater access to opportunity.

Yesterday, @KamalaHarris spelled out a clear strategy for securing our border, fixing our immigration policies, and stopping the flow of fentanyl into our country. Debate her policies. But stop saying she doesn't have a plan. & show me Trump's plan -- not his soundbites of illegal actions that will never happen -- but a real strategy.

The aftermath of Helene is another reminder that when this country experiences disasters, the last person we want stewarding our resources is Donald Trump.

From capping the cost of prescription drugs for all to providing first-time homebuyers with financial support to restoring the child tax credit for families, @KamalaHarris just laid out some ways she'll help lower costs for the American people.
She has the vision, the character, and the strength that this critical moment demands, and I know she will deliver. Let’s get to work!

Clarence Thomas took $267,000 from a health insurance executive, then issued rulings that made health insurance companies more money, while harming millions of Americans.
This is a bribe.
This isn’t complicated.

So, IRS Code 501c explicitly states that tax-exempt organizations, like the Heritage Foundation, are prohibited from participating in political activity.
It’s time for the Heritage Foundation AND churches that meddle in politics to start paying some taxes.
Who here agrees? 🖐🏾

Mike Johnson has blocked aid to Ukraine for six months. This discharge petition will FORCE him to allow a vote.
Reaching 218 signatures means debate on the bill can begin — members can still vote YES or NO.

Many people tell me that Dr. Robert Hur has diagnosed Trump with poor memory.
Also, why is Trump trying to take credit for a veterans law signed by President Obama? Because Trump did nothing for veterans during his tenure. And Trump mocked and disrespected those who served.

Trump loves to lie about this.
The Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014 was signed by President Obama, NOT Trump.
This is the CSPAN truth. President Obama is literally signing the bill in this video.

I’m old enough to remember when Presidents didn’t want to be protected from any crime for life.
I’m also old enough to remember when self-professed patriots wouldn’t have argued they should be.

Today, I introduced a resolution to censure @RepStefanik for supporting the Jan 6 insurrectionists, calling these convicted criminals “hostages.”
There's no conduct more unbecoming than supporting those intent on subverting our democracy.
She's brought shame to our institution.

"$34 Trillion" is trending because Republicans are trying to blame President Biden for it, while conveniently forgetting that they voted for the tax cut for the wealthy and corporations that added a huge chunk of that debt.
They think Americans will soon forget how they keep trying to cut Social Security and Medicare in order to pass along another tax cut to the wealthy.
They think Americans will fall for their trickle-down economic tax scam again.
Americans will not forget.
We're not falling for it.

There should be no doubt this planet must find better leaders than those we've had recently (with thanks to those like General Mark A. Milley still trying):
Mark Avila did five combat tours and lost a leg in Afghanistan. When he sang at a Pentagon event, Trump asked, “Why do you bring people like that here? No one wants to see that, the wounded.” Never let Avila appear in public again, Trump told Milley. theatlantic.com/magazine/arc…

The amount of people hating on Oprah for donating $5 million as direct cash to people who lost their homes, no strings-attached, because it's not enough, because she's a billionaire who should donate even more, is truly ridiculous.
Usually when a disaster happens, we come together to help each other out. Now if a billionaire is one of those people who wants to help, they either need to do it all themselves or not at all? And the rest of us shouldn't donate to help people even if we want to help, because a billionaire exists and they should do it? Unless they don't do it, and then we should??
Inequality has grown so extreme that we should just rely on billionaires, and if they do help, fuck them because it's not enough, because they're billionaires, and if they don't help, fuck them because they're billionaires and they should help?
If billionaires are fucked if they do and fucked if they don't, why should they donate anything at all? Seems to make more sense to encourage billionaires to donate, and despite being thankful for those donations, tax them a lot more too.
Also can we get an unconditional basic income floor up in here too, so that we're not all so goddamn angry all the time thanks to being stressed the fuck out about trying to survive? Certainly would be nice to feel a bit of peace versus constant anger.
Also, screw the algorithms that are feeding this outrage machine and bringing out the worst in everyone for maximum engagement.

REAL TALK, @elonmusk.
As a career veteran of the US armed forces & intelligence, a rescuer on 9/11. a Ukrainian Army Legionnaire and a man who spent his whole life happily defending your constitutional right to openly love & embrace fascists, genocidaires, racists, antisemites, terrorists & insurrectionists, I KNOW you’d never fight or die for America bc you love our enemy’s money & your own ego more than the country that took your diamond smuggling, lazy Bond Villain ass in.
YOU are an execrable, disgraceful #TreasonWeasel to America & all it stands for. But that’s just my professional opinion.
