We’re pleased to take on the work of @RCICaregiving, expanding support for millions of caregivers — a true continuation of Mrs. Carter’s inspiring legacy.
On June 30, The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers will formally sunset, and its work will merge with @CarterCenter. Together, we will ensure that caregivers and individuals facing mental health challenges are seen, heard, and supported — now and in the future.
It was a pleasure to join @GaSecofState and @GabrielSterling at The Seminar for a conversation about U.S. election integrity and how we can work together to protect the right to vote at home and abroad.
Delighted to speak with @BerniceKing about the crisis of civility and the important work of @TheKingCenter at #IWFSeattle25. Thank you @IWFglobal for an inspiring event.
Thank you, @DrTedros. I know President Carter would be proud to see us recommitting ourselves to this work and working together to eradicate Guinea worm disease.
We are standing on the threshold of a historic public health victory: #GuineaWorm elimination.
A new resolution championed by Chad and other Member States is poised for adoption at #WHA78.
This progress has been driven by the dedication of national programmes, the support of international partners and, most importantly, by the leadership and hard work of local communities and health workers.
This resolution is a fitting tribute to the late President Carter. @CarterCenter
Innovation + persistence are keys to ending river blindness & lymphatic filariasis. Those were themes I discussed with Arielle Dolegui of @Gatesfoundation and health ministers from Togo, Niger, & Tanzania at a celebration of the 5 billionth donated treatment of Mectizan.
Thank you, @DrTedros! Excited to be at #WHA78 in Geneva this week to share ideas with the partners that make our health work possible.
We love these poignant words from @DrTedros at #WHA78 on the global health legacy of President Carter. We salute the thousands of Guinea worm warriors who worked with him to get to the brink of eradication. #DefeatGuineaworm

Nonprofits provide essential services in every U.S. community. We join more than 200 orgs speaking out against the targeting of nonprofits in the House tax bill. No President should have the power to punish nonprofits they disagree with.

Thank you, @GeorgiaTech, for honoring President and Mrs. Carter. They dedicated their lives to public service, and we’re excited to see the many ways that Tech’s public policy students will follow in their footsteps.
The Board of Regents just approved the naming of the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School of Public Policy at @GeorgiaTech in recognition of the Carters' exemplary leadership and life of public service. The Carter School will develop public leaders committed to #ProgressAndService
Pleased to be back in Chad for the third time in 12 months! Grateful for the chance to meet with Minister of Health Dr. Abdelmadjid Abderahim and sign an agreement that will allow us to begin working to eliminate river blindness and lymphatic filariasis in Chad.
