If I’m being honest, this man is one of the worst things that has happened to football. Take it or leave it. He gets to AC Milan, picks a player ( Nkuku), isolates him, tells him to train alone and basically tries to force him out. Football is not war. These are human beings. There’s a professional way to move players on without creating unnecessary hostility.
That’s exactly how he tried to make Mainoo look bad at Manchester United, and now some United fans hate Mainoo for absolutely no reason.
And now Rashford? How does a Manchester United fan suddenly forget all the great memories he gave this club because of one manager? Make it make sense.
I know INEOS didn’t sign enough players for Carrick, but stop putting all the blame on INEOS. Carrick’s tactics, team selection and cowardice with big players are costing us. He’s not good enough to coach Manchester United.
Cunha has scored/assisted in his last 3, yet benched twice. Lacey scored in his last start, benched again. Zirkzee improved vs Spurs but didn’t play today.

My biggest happiness from the Atlético Madrid game was seeing how much Mainoo’s absence was felt 😂. Even with Baleba on the pitch, we couldn’t keep the ball the same way we do when Mainoo is playing. That game alone showed me that Mainoo + Baleba should be our pivot.
Yet these same people told me Mainoo was the problem at Manchester United because he’s “lazy” and doesn’t defend 😂. Even when he’s making massive improvements defensively, they still find a way to drag him.
Now they’re even blaming Mainoo for Lammens’ mistake 😂. Come on, take a chill pill. I know some of this is just engagement farming, but the Mainoo hate is getting ridiculous. He’s the future of Manchester United and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.
And honestly, I don’t want United to beat Leeds 😂. I want Carrick OUT. Give me Conte or the Brighton coach.
My only fear is Mainoo and Baleba starting together because that might actually make us win 😂. Carrick, please start Tielemans and Rashford so my dream of seeing you sacked can finally come true. 😭😂

#mufc players are split over Lisandro Martinez’s comments against the club hierarchy.
Although some players appreciated his honesty, others are reluctant to explicitly side with him.
One senior player feels Martinez’s comments exacerbated coverage of United’s loss to Atletico when the squad felt they had performed respectably against last season’s UCL semi-finalists.

As a coach, I honestly don't understand what Carrick is seeing.
How do you bench a player who has scored and assisted in his last three games just to play Rashford? What exactly is the logic?
Why is Tielemans untouchable? The guy has been poor, yet Carrick keeps starting him game after game. Is he afraid of dropping him? Is he afraid of resting him? And why is Amass being ignored?
Yesterday, Carrick literally sacrificed Amad and Cunha just to fit Tielemans into the team. 😂 Then Amad comes on and you put him on the LEFT wing. Why? Why make things unnecessarily complicated?
Then Yoro gets sent off and Carrick still refuses to react properly. Cunha and Maguire are sitting on the bench, but he waits until Atlético score the second goal before making changes. That is not good enough.
At this point, I don't care about excuses anymore. Carrick needs to be sacked. His team selections, substitutions and in-game management are becoming impossible to defend. We are wasting games because of decisions that make absolutely no sense. Get him out.

Antonio Conte (and names like Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann) are linked if United decide to change, but there are no concrete talks yet. Conte has signalled he would be open to a mid-season move for a historic European club aiming to return to its former level.
Lisandro Martínez publicly criticised the club after the game, saying he expected more from the technical director, more summer backing for Carrick, and that the squad is not ready for Champions League level. Other players in the dressing room feel the same way after a limited rebuild focused mainly on midfield.
