2022 is on track for having the most medical VR research published yet. Great catch by @BrennanSpiegel, who has a great book "VRx: How Virtual Therapeutics Will Revolutionize Medicine." My Voices of VR interview here: voicesofvr.com/953-brennan-s…
"Virtually" exponential! I tracked the number of articles that mention "virtual reality" on Pubmed since 1985. There's been a massive rise in medical #VR research staring around 2015. Now on track for 3,193 articles this year alone which will be highest annual total to date.

BREAKING: Russia threatens Finland with military consequences if Finland discusses NATO membership
💬#Zakharova: We regard the Finnish government’s commitment to a military non-alignment policy as an important factor in ensuring security and stability in northern Europe. ☝️Finland’s accession to @NATO would have serious military and political repercussions.

Truly the breakout of the day
If you're gonna listen to any speech about #Ukraine 🇺🇦, let it be this one. The Kenya ambassador to the UNSC perfectly explains how people across Africa understand Ukraine, and what the Kremlin's acts of aggression mean in our post-colonial world.

Building "spatial analytics" for the (*gulp*) metaverse (read: the 3D open web) to help understand user behavior in immersive 3D worlds where Google Analytics can't go. Integrating w/ @MozillaHubs & @aframevr first. Apart data playback at "Flight of 🐝" speed, s/o @colinfizgig!

A 6-year-old & his best friend tiger began exploring the mysteries, profundities, and humors of childhood (& tuna sandwiches) exactly 30 years ago today (Nov 18,1985). Watterson's decade of work has captivated fans worldwide & is still every bit as relevant today, 36 years later!
