Excited that the 1st chapter of my dissertation on 🐐 🐠 is submitted! We examine their phylogeny, morphology, & overall weirdness. I can’t thank enough the real dream team of @linnealungstrom @fishladylily @mwestneat 👏🏻
Check it out! biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

To trans people in Missouri, you can STILL get your HRT. Even if they enact their adult ban, if you can make it to the border, there are informed consent clinics near the border in every surrounding state.
These clinics often have short wait times.

7 years ago, I was working at Subway, thinking I would never get a college degree. Now, I’m a published scientist. Seeing my name at the top of a research article is an absolute dream come true.
So, give my first publication a read. It’s a good one.
Oh, and eat fresh.
Goatfishes are young! And morphometrically forthright. New paper led by @ChloeLikesFish, made awesome by @fishladylily and @linnealungstrom. Free MPE download for 50 days, go for it. Absolutely #barbellious.

Beautiful talk by @_tree_line showing convergent evolution of scale types and looooots of polyploidy in a montane clade of #Rhododendron– a great example of integrating genomic data, herbarium study, and bioinformatics. #Botany2022

Almost time for goatfishes! Go and see @ChloeLikesFish representing our lab and talking about complex analysis of #phylogenomics, #morphometrics, and #biogeography in crazy fishes with barbels in the #ItDepends symposium. #Evol2022
The idea for this symposium was born in the coffee line at #Evol2019, and we are so excited that it is finally happening! Join us today for #itdepends to hear some amazing talks and demystify the choice process for data and analyses! Co-lead w/ @xelamarie92 @HansNatya #Evol2022
You won't want to miss this SSB symposium!
"How do we make decisions about data and analyses in systematic biology? It depends!"
Organized by @HansNatya, @xelamarie92, and @ChloeLikesFish
An important topic that affects every researcher in our field.

I finally made it to Cleveland (after a few flight delays and changes), so there will be a talk tomorrow! 😅
