Interesting results below from @PBoutsalis ⤵️ Peter recently joined us on the podcast to talk about clethodim resistance, and what growers should keep in mind in order to get the most out of the herbicide 🌱 Listen to the episode here 🎧 weedsmart.org.au/audio/grazi…
Our replicated pot trials identified that tank-mixing Clethodim + Atrazine was antagonist vs. Clethodim alone or separating the mixes. The longer the separation the greater the control. We included 3 DIM-resistant and 1 susceptible ryegrass in the study. @WeedSmartAU

Using 2020 Gross Margins to assess the 2022 impact of higher fertiliser and chemical costs. Using 100% ↑ fertiliser price and 25% ↑ herbicide cost and todays pricing for grains, gross margins would be higher than 2020 for cereals and canola and lower for lupins.

Interesting read. Post emergent Boxer Gold would also be worth considering.

Anyone that still has not cleaned retained Canola for next year please see below tweet as to why we so strongly recommend grading canola over a 2mm screen. Call local Landmark to book Seedshield truck. xitter.cf/brill_rohan/status/933…
We’ve averaged a 150 kg/ha yield increase from >2 mm over 1.8 mm in trials. Should be worth the hassle
