The Knicks are raising their championship banner tonight. Mitchell Robinson helped them win that title. And just a few hours earlier, he's making his regular-season debut for the BOSTON CELTICS. Eight years in New York, wins a ring, then heads straight to Boston. If he starts bullying people on the offensive glass in green, Knicks fans are gonna be SICK.

All FOUR Celtics-Pistons games last season were within 3 points in the final 3 minutes. Detroit won 3 of them. And the NBA decided THIS should be the first game of the new season. It's literally Game 1 and I already know this team is gonna stress me out 😭

37, 34, 35 in his last three season openers. And only 39% think he's dropping 30 again? I don't know about y'all, but I'm NEVER betting against JT on Opening Night.

One thing I'm keeping an eye on tonight: Ausar Thompson. Detroit's been letting him handle the ball more this preseason, creating looks for Cade instead of just playing off him. So now Boston has to worry about Cade AND the guy setting him up. We're two hours from tip-off and I've already found something new to stress about.

Everybody's talking about Boston's starting five. But I wanna know who Joe trusts when it's a 2-point game with 2 minutes left. Walsh for defense? Pritchard for buckets? Mitch to clean up the glass? That's when we're REALLY gonna find out what this new Celtics team is made of.

Year 10 for Jayson Tatum. Year 10 for me as a Celtics fan. I still remember the first NBA game I ever watched. Isaiah Thomas dropping 53 against the Wizards in 2017. That was the night I fell in love with Boston. That summer, we drafted this kid named Jayson Tatum. I spent the whole summer getting excited about our new lineup. Then, barely five minutes into Opening Night, Gordon Hayward went down. I was new to the NBA, and I was already learning how cruel this game could be. But out of all that heartbreak came something special. Tatum stepped up as a rookie. We made it all the way to Game 7 of the ECF, where he literally dunked on LeBron James lol. We lost that night, and man, it hurt. But I knew I was watching someone special. And now here we are, nine years later. So much has changed. Different players, different teams, different chapters of my life. But that feeling of watching the Celtics? Never changed. Year 10, JT. Crazy how fast time flies.
