Hard to believe it has been 25 years since 9/11. God Bless all those we lost on that fateful day.
To all those first responders who ran to the danger, and lost their lives , I’m sure there is a special place in heaven for all of you. To all our veterans who answered the call. TY

Father Mychal Judge, a Catholic priest and FDNY chaplain, was the first officially recorded casualty of the September 11 attacks. At the World Trade Center, he prayed as he witnessed people jumping from the towers and administered the last rites to a fallen firefighter before he was killed by falling debris.

Honoring the sacrifice of 9/11 heroes doesn't end with the anniversary. The legacy lives on as survivors and responders still battle health issues. Stay informed and involved. 🚒 #TheSacrificeContinues #NeverForget
Twenty-five years after September 11, 2001, the FDNY remembers Father Mychal Judge not by how he died, but by how he lived.
Known to so many as a chaplain, a Friar, a mentor and a source of comfort, Father Judge dedicated his life to serving others. His kindness, compassion and words of hope continue to resonate with FDNY members, their families and New Yorkers today.
Presented by FDNY Pro Films, "Remembering Judge" tells the story of a life defined by service and leadership. It sheds light on the person who brought hope to members of the Department and their families during their darkest hours.
Join us for a special screening of "Remembering Judge" at 1:30PM Sunday, Sept. 6, or 6PM Friday, Sept. 11, at Firehouse Cinema in Manhattan. Tickets can be purchased at dctvny.org/s/firehouse-film/….

In Boston today to visit the firehouse of our Gary Sinise Foundation friend, fallen firefighter Bobby (BK) Kilduff. Served food to some of our heroes and their families.
BK dedicated his life to serving others, and it was very special to spend time with the men and women who knew and loved him and who continue that tradition of service every day.
Always grateful for the opportunity to say thank you to our first responders and their families. God bless you all.
Great day today, former Deputy Commissioner Connie Wong was sworn in as an Associate Justice of the Boston Municipal Court.
Well deserved, and best wishes

A remarkable tribute to their dad, BK.
"The only thing he loved more than being a fire fighter was being our dad."

Robert Emmett Judge was born on 5/11/33 and would later take the name by which he is best known. We #Remember @FDNY Chaplain Mychal Judge, who gave his life aiding rescuers and the fallen on Sept. 11, 2001, and we recognize the vital work that #FireChaplains perform every day.
