Fire companies have started to rotate out & get rehabbed. Traffic is still impassable due to large feeder lines that run from hydrant to engines. The fire has been knocked down to being just in the basement level which continues to push out significant dark smoke.

All fire companies are still working hard to keep water on the building . Engines are pulling water from as far as Moreland St, 2 blocks away. Please avoid Nubian Sq. area. Thousands of feet of feeder CC has most side streets blocked.

Please avoid the Dudley area of Roxbury. Fire companies have the entire block surrounded with engines pumping to all the trucks with ladder pipes. The 2 story landmark building is now all outside work.

Companies arrived to 72 Warren St with smoke showing. Very quickly it has climbed to 5 alarms with all work being conducted from the exterior.

Fire has been knocked down at 425 Washington Street downtown crossing. Ladders are being used to get the correct angle for water down in wall of store fronts. Companies are starting to make up.

The Massachusetts Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the state house on the 25th remembrance of the 9/11 attacks.

Today our Fire family & friends gave much honor & respect to our fellow comrades who we lost on this 25th year since the Twin Towers tragically collapsed. We had moments a silence as well as a service by the Firefighter Memorial at the State House. Thank you to all who attended

Fire companies are working at 70 Fargo Street with a fire on the roof of the 9 story high rise building. A 2nd alarm was struck for the fire traveling along the ductwork affecting floor 9.

1st due companies are starting to make up. The 2 1/2 story wood frame multi family dwelling has many hotspots so detail companies will be in place for awhile

Fire detail companies are setup now at 596 Metropolitan Ave. There were no injuries reported. RedCross have been called to help the family of 3/1 dog with emergency services.Their cat is still missing. Thx to A10 for their rehab of this working members on scene.

Extensive overhauling is underway of the 2.5 story wood frame home. There are live power lines arching at the front of home. The utility company has been notified for a disconnect. All companies are still working

All companies are working at the 3rd alarm fire on Metropolitan Av in Hyde Park. They arrived to the front of home fully involved. Three adults and a dog made it out safely.

Companies are now packing up from a fire in the Roxbury transfer station trash pile. Thanks to the heat sensor alarm system, the fire companies were able to the fire before it became severe. A 2nd alarm was struck just for man power. Machinery was used to move the trash making possible to get to the source at the bottom.
