IT IS SHOWTIME. Get ready boys Trump is now attacking the market instead of propping it up. He seems to be pulling a Nixon madman to force a negotiation. Fires top generals, moves in navy, shows he has total military control by rescuing two pilots in broad daylight. Suggests there will be no more waiting. Bombs will fly in 48 hours continuing with “stone age” theme. Writes war tweet for Christian MAGA base then re-writes it more sternly for Iran. This is not an accident. This is the kind of headline grabbing news Trump loves. Buckle up. Will be another wild week.

Further ominous developments today. For first time, Iran successfully targeted oil/gas production facilities (rather than refining, terminals and storage): Oil and gas field in the UAE (Shah) hit Oil field in Iraq (Majnoon) attacked Plus Saudi Arabia saw large drone swarms
Iran has started a new phase of its oil war: Tehran is clearly going after the Strait of Hormuz bypass route, with Fujairah (UAE) coming under attack. But so far, the Saudi pipeline bypass hasn't been attacked (and neither the Yemeni Houthis have tried to close the Red Sea).

You know what little known corners are talking about? It is the ridiculous amount of fertilizer inputs that transverse the Strait of Hormuz.

I'm not sure it will hold up as a binding contract, but he told us to expect good things from his speech later today. E15 is good for Farmers, consumers and American energy security. Congress needs to get it passe!
Signed contract? Trump offers his signature on E15 ad in today's @DMRegister . The biofuel supporters always looking at ways to box a president in!

Chet Edinger, a farmer in southeast South Dakota, says the hot, dry weather is taking the top end off corn and soybean yields. But even with that yield reduction, he says the soybeans are the best he’s seen in his farming career. @brownfield brownfieldagnews.com/news/dr…

🚨It's official! Here are #EPA's PROPOSED #biofuel volume requirements for 2026 & 2027. Biomass-based diesel volumes are much higher than most people's expectations. BBD volumes are in #ethanol-equivalent gallons. Example: One gallon of biodiesel generates 1.5 #RINs.

The South Dakota bill prohibiting #CO2 #pipeline companies from using eminent domain to acquire rights-of-way is headed to Gov Rhoden for his signature. If signed, it will be another headache for Summit Carbon, but unlikely to kill the project. #ethanol dakotanewsnow.com/2025/03/05…

The Nationwide Consumer & Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2025 is the "legislative fix" that the #ethanol industry has been waiting for that would allow the year-round sales of #E15. It's a clean solution to a persistent problem. Full text here: tinyurl.com/56cubk75

If Trump and Putin clinch (or impose) a deal on Ukraine, the commodity markets to watch for the (potential) biggest bearish impact are: ▶️ European nat gas, oil, coal, uranium ▶️ Wheat, barley, urea fertiliser ▶️ Palladium, aluminium, nickel (Emphasis on “potential”)

The clock has stuck midnight in the United Kingdom, and the country's mandate for #SAF has officially begun. The mandate starts at 2% of total UK jet fuel demand in 2025 and rises every year thereafter through 2040. gov.uk/government/collection…

You all need to chill out on if an observation is pro gmo or pro till or pro chemical...pro organic, etc We should all farm different. None of use farm the same soil, in the same region, with the same infrastructure and circumstances. We all are here to learn from one another. Any type of reset favors the ones who are stronger and adaptable. We don't need fights. We need dialogue. Nature doesn't have winners and losers. What is growing is an indication of what needs to grow. We need to grow up and lose the idea that if we say that eating fries and potato chips marinated in preservatives that keep the fry looking like Dolly Parton underneath a minivan seat for 80 years our potato farm is going to go broke. Or feeding livestock non gmo is going to ruin our access to bt.. Like politicians need reminded that they are working for us. Farmers need reminded we are feeding our communities...or we used to at least. We're now giving the corporations that can make the most money off of our backs, minds, and land the supplies to do so. Nothing shared on x is going to wreck your life's work. I don't need friends that are carbon copies. I don't care what I grow. I just want to grow

The UK Minister for Aviation has signed the #SAF mandate into law, which will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2025. The mandate will require that 2% of all jet fuel demand in the UK be made up of SAF, increasing to 10% in 2030 & then to 22% in 2040. #biofuels powerprogress.com/news/uk-go…

American farmers are worried that President-elect Donald Trump's sweeping tariff plans will curb their access to top soy buyer China, but tariffs could also lure companies to build more U.S. crushing plants, hungry for domestic supplies.
