This is the man who said that Jews don’t have Canadian values. And Olivia Chow welcomes him.
I know that we can count on Olivia to stand up for people, and their human rights and their dignity and wellbeing. It's so important that everyone gets out to vote on Monday October 26th Olivia. Or we could get stuck with a mayor we do not want and cannot afford. Brad Bradford will say anything to get elected. He flip flops. He cant be counted on. We can't trust him. We know who @oliviachow Chow is. So please make sure you go and vote for Olivia. A Mayor we can trust.

This is such revisionist nonsense. Back when I was at the federal cabinet retreat pleading with them to get the international student situation under control (and getting called a racist for my efforts), Alberta was in the media asking for the population to grow *faster*.
The Prime Minister and I have found common ground on many things over the last 18 months. However, it appears that he has yet to fully understand just how damaging the open-border policies of his predecessor were. Those policies caused Canada’s cost of living to skyrocket, overwhelmed our social services, and made homes and jobs unattainable for thousands of young Canadians.
That’s why I’m encouraging Albertans to vote ‘yes to the rest’ to give our government a strong mandate to take more control over our immigration system, so that we can prioritize economic migrants, put Albertans first for jobs, and ensure Albertans’ social services are sustainable. We’re also asking for a strong mandate to work with willing provinces to reform the courts, abolish the senate, and protect provincial jurisdiction.
I look forward to hearing from Albertans on October 19th.
Today, Stephanie Bowman released her platform for the Ontario Liberal leadership race. Once again, she is showing that she knows how to fly with a short runway. With Doug Ford likely to call an election as early as next year, that matters.
With her economic policy, Bowman remains the candidate best able to fight Ford on economic issues. But, as Stephanie says, what we need is a strong economy with a heart. The policy platform also addresses healthcare, education, housing, energy, environment, municipal affairs, transportation, infrastructure, rural and public affairs, public safety and strengthening our democracy. Even with all of those policy proposals, she has committed to a proper grassroots policy process, with policy conventions feeding into an election platform. She is demonstrating leadership while respecting party democracy.
For Bowman, building the economy is about more than economic growth. As leader, she will show Ontarians that we can build the economy so that Ontarians have homes they can afford and income to help pay for rising costs. She will argue that we need to build it so that we can afford world-class healthcare and education that the Ford Conservatives are not providing. She will ensure voters understand that we are also building it so that we can afford a meaningful social safety net for those who need the help.
Stephanie Bowman is the most experienced MPP in the race. She has the economic credentials to challenge Doug Ford, the ability to raise money, strong communications and the best plan for party reform. Now she has demonstrated that she has the policy depth to match.
Stephanie Bowman is the best candidate to lead the Ontario Liberal Party to victory in the next election.

Rebuilding our party starts with the people who put their time and energy into it. I’m proud to have Ferd Longo, a longtime liberal, former Chief of Staff, former president and former executive member backing me as his first choice.
Ferd’s endorsement speaks to the values at the heart of this campaign: economic opportunity, social justice and community service. Those values will guide my work to strengthen our party and build a more prosperous, inclusive Ontario.
Thank you, Ferd, for your trust and support. I’m ready to get to work on Day One.
Together, we are #ReadyForWhatsNext.
Doug Ford threatened to cut off electricity to the US, but he’s buying from them instead! Don’t believe a word this guy says. He has no clue how to protect Ontario. The fact is that under Ford’s leadership, we have been importing more electricity and not less. #onpoli toronto.citynews.ca/2026/10/…

I’m deeply troubled by the Toronto Star’s reporting that the Ford government hid a study showing problem gambling rates significantly higher than expected. Ontarians deserve transparency, not a government that keeps them in the dark.
As premier, I’ll put an end to Ford’s harmful online gambling advertising scheme and make sure Ontarians have the treatment and support they need to recover from gambling addiction.

This happened at a school in a predominantly Jewish area. Proud of the kids who pushed back and reported Mary Thompson. @YRDSB, do better. Our kids need teachers who don’t make them feel unsafe.
Hey @WCI_YRDSB, is it common practice for your teachers to provoke and create a hostile environment for their students?
Teachers are there to EDUCATE. Using classroom authority to push an anti-Israel political agenda or make Jewish students feel targeted is unacceptable.
Jewish and pro-Israel students deserve respect and a classroom free from intimidation. What are you doing to ensure that?
Bravo to these kids for standing up to this teacher! 👏

Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill is united behind @stephaniebowman ! #onpoli
I’m grateful to have Leah Taylor Roy standing with us.
As the former Member of Parliament for Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill, Leah knows what it takes to serve a community, bring people together and make difficult decisions. She understands that a strong economy and strong public services go hand in hand, and I’m honoured to have her confidence in the experience, determination and practical approach I bring to this race.
Thank you, Leah, for your support and for being part of what we’re building together.

Western countries are being reminded of how hard it is to come to any long-term agreement with the Palestinian Authority. They have been the largest impediment to peace when Israel has a government trying to reach a deal.

“Drop out or go broke.” That’s the choice students face because of Doug Ford’s OSAP freeze caused by years of not paying attention.
No one, especially a single parent, should be punished for trying to build a better life for their family.
As Premier, I’ll watch every dollar closely. I’ll restore OSAP funding to legitimate colleges, and make sure our education system works for hardworking Ontarians.
I've done some data review and the number of Ontario Liberal members in every single riding is higher than the number of votes from that riding in the 2023 leadership. The same is true of all continuing student clubs and women's clubs. Once again, I would argue that the total membership numbers are not what they seem. #onpoli

The Palestinian Authority is "postponing" elections, and Canada is rightly asking them to reconsider. Unfortunately, Canada is also demanding that Israel not interfere in the elections that are not even happening. It is stupefying. #cdnpoli
Canada, alongside Australia, France and the United Kingdom, expresses deep regret over the postponement of Palestinian elections until September 2027. Nearly two decades have passed since the last Palestinian Legislative Council elections, leaving an entire generation without the opportunity to elect its representatives.
We call on the Palestinian Authority to reconsider this decision and to take the necessary steps to hold legislative and presidential elections, without further delay.

I’m so grateful to call Ontario home, where I’ve raised my beautiful children and made so many cherished memories gathered around the table at Thanksgiving.
For me, this time of year is about appreciating the people we love and reflecting on the kindness of our neighbours, the strength of our communities, and the little moments that bring us closer together.
From my family to yours, wishing you a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, good food, and time with the people who mean the most to you. 🦃🧡🍂
