Today was the second-lowest possession Leicester have had in a game all season.
The lowest they’ve had was also in a win, 4-3 away to Stockport.
Take note, Russell #LCFC
Much-improved performance. Shaky opening 20 minutes but grew into the game.
Great finishes from Lundstram and Doyle. Used possession well to control things after Doncaster got one back.
Players looked much more suited to the 3-4-3 formation. Hopefully that’s here to stay #LCFC
Difficult to ascertain what formation this is. Assuming it’s the usual, we’re looking at Okoli RB and Doyle on the wing. No striker on the bench again… #LCFC

This is excellent (albeit depressing) listening #LCFC
@OwynnPA @_mattpiper and Jordan from @BSLBPodcast with heartfelt monologues that perfectly capture the desperation and helplessness Leicester fans are experiencing over the potential death of our club.

Leicester City Football Club has been dying for years now. Infected by deep-rooted, systemic incompetence from senior leadership all the way down.
There will not be a club to support in years to come if King Power do not sell up and Jon Rudkin is not removed from power #LCFC
I don’t condone personal abuse towards Russell Martin. Attacking his lifestyle or family is unacceptable.
What you can say is he’s an awful coach who’s utterly inflexible with huge limitations.
That’s been clear for some time, and yet the club appointed him regardless #LCFC
3-0 HT. Another textbook half from Leicester: dominate possession, struggle to create clear chances, look completely at sea when hit on the counter.
McCarthy, Thomas, Aluko and Lundstram all woeful. Reid and Alves poor in attack.
This only ends one way for Russell Martin #LCFC
Can’t get onboard with Okoli starting over Kangasniemi. The former is a massive liability in a Russell Martin team during build-up play.
Disappointing to see Braybrooke benched, too, although I think Martin’s finally realised he’s more of a 6 than an 8 #LCFC

Fantastic news. Hopefully this opens the door to Kangasniemi getting more game time.
Okoli can’t pass, Nelson has a long-term injury and Souttar’s dropped a few clangers already this season.
Would like to see O’Hora and Kangasniemi emerge as our long-term CB partnership #LCFC
Wout Faes has joined UAE Pro League side Shabab AlAhli Dubai FC in a permanent deal, subject to international clearance ℹ️
🔗 leic.it/4yoqjny
Faes was arguably the best-suited CB we had, both in terms of his ability at League One level and executing Martin’s tactics.
But he had become a cancer. A poster-boy for the club’s failures with the arrogance to match. A clean break was always needed in our bid to rebuild #LCFC
It’s so depressing how divided the club has become.
Scarce transparency, reckless spending, continual failure, divisive manager/tactics, starting bad eggs, fans at each other online and in the stands…
Like or loathe them, Leicester will never feel united under King Power #LCFC
Terrible result. Looked in control and on top until the sending off, which perversely tipped the scales in Barnsley’s favour.
Patches of nice play and got in some good positions, but woeful end product cost us, particularly from from Watson #LCFC
Have to assume Joseph is injured. No Kangasniemi, McFarlane or Bristrić in the squad is very disappointing. Especially when the likes of Coulibaly and Reid are being selected over them.
Faes starting is tone deaf at best. That’s one hell of a bridge he’ll have to build #LCFC
Thoughts #LCFC
- Page excellent. Lundstram impressive
- Cullen better wide. Solid off-ball work
- Souttar & McCarthy awful. Braybrooke struggled
- Lost all control in the 2nd half. Credit to Martin for his subs and tactical shift
- Didn’t like our fans jeering when winning
Christ. What to say. A 4-3 win. Two disallowed Stockport goals. Collective head loss after conceding the second, but they dug it out.
Fascinating to see Russell Martin abandon his tactics last 20 minutes. McCarthy kicking everything long. Most likely saved us in the end #LCFC
