Boy George on the fucking timeline. Naecunt asked for this.
It is horrifying to watch Paris, the most handsome city in Europe being destroyed. I have always admired how the French protest and stand up for themselves but this is gut wrenching. Those beautiful building and markets belong aesthetically to every French person. You don't need the deeds to The Louvre or Westminster Abbey to know those building enrich your life.

Send some prayers to one of the greatest henchmen to ever hench, Al Leong, who's in the hospital after suffering from a stroke.
Blissfuly unaware of this dude until last week. Why are the tech freaks the top tier celebrities now?
Palmer Luckey warns America can’t deter wars if it can’t even supply Ukraine: “How can you be the world’s gun store if you can’t keep your shelves full?” 🇺🇸🇺🇦
“We’re not able to even supply Ukraine with the things they need without burning down our most critical stocks. How can the rest of the world trust our security guarantees?
How can they trust that we’re going to get them what they need? How can you be the world’s gun store if you can’t keep your shelves full, if you can’t keep anything in stock?
People said, ‘You’re a warmonger. You’re praying for conflict.’ I was preparing for it.
The better a job the United States does deterring conflict—which is fundamentally underpinned by the credible threat of being able to equip our allies, partners, and ourselves with weapons that will win that fight—the more successful I am in my job.
And the more likely it is that everyone gets to keep thinking I’m a fucking idiot.”

Neither Cartier-Bresson, Banksy nor Cold War Steve could have come up with such an image. Absolutely perfect composition and lighting (even the road signs are perfect)! 😍
Random woman just showed up at the door with a bag full of conkers. I'd imagine there's an ancient pagan rite that means - by accepting them - we are now married.
Replying to @StephenM
Stephen, your ability to wake up every morning and not kill yourself is both impressive and disappointing
Watching the LASK v Liverpool game. Look at the Liverpool players actually enjoying playing football.
I'm tired of these shitheads.
Zelensky's latest comments that he would attack Russian tankers carrying oil we purchased to the US is basically a threat of war against the United States of America. Who the hell does he think he is trying to dictate terms to the President of the United States? He is nothing but a tin-pot dictator of a failed state.
President Trump should immediately cut off all US aid to Ukraine and Starlink access and demand his immediate resignation or removal from power and replacement by a Ukrainian leader who is willing to sign the peace framework the US negotiated with Russia a year ago.
Ah, the old Bud Light bitterness benchmark.
The face you make on your first Guinness is involuntary. The stuff is roughly 7x more bitter than Bud Light, and bitterness happens to be the one taste humans evolved specifically to spit out.
Here's what's going on.
Guinness gets its color from barley roasted at around 230°C, which is coffee territory. To an untrained tongue it basically tastes like someone dumped espresso in your beer.
Then the nitrogen makes it worse. Guinness pours with a 75/25 nitrogen-to-CO2 mix, and nitrogen barely dissolves in liquid. Those tiny creamy bubbles everyone loves? That's the nitrogen. Problem is, nitrogen also kills the fizzy bite that takes the edge off bitterness in a regular beer, so all that roast hits your tongue with nothing in the way.
Meanwhile your tongue carries 25 different types of bitter receptors, and their only job is detecting toxins. Light up enough of them at once and your body runs the rejection script whether you want it to or not. Pursed lips, little recoil, the exact face in this video.
A psychologist named Paul Rozin coined a term for what happens after that first sip. Benign masochism. Humans are the only species that trains itself to enjoy things the body flags as dangerous, which is the whole story of chili, coffee, and stout. Takes around 8 to 10 tries before your brain connects the bitterness to the buzz and flips the signal from "spit this out" to "order another."
So every Guinness drinker alive has made that face at some point, we just weren't on camera when it happened.
