@ChainstackHQ leads Dwellir and ZAN in our global block propagation showdown for #Arbitrum Mainnet.
Recently we acquired $49/mo subscriptions with these 3 providers to get sufficient #RPC capacity for our global analysis from 31 locations on 6 continents.
In each of the 31 locations we launched 2 dedicated probes with subscriptions for newHeades via a websocket. The probes intercepted notifications about new blocks and added timestamps for each arrival. Eventually, we merged the hashes and timestamps from all the probes to determine the earliest location for each block and lag times for all followers.
Chainstackโs paid endpoint on Arbitrum mainnet was able to โwinโ 3724 to 555 against ZAN and also win 3822 to 553 against the comparable subscription by Dwellir. Each of these is one unique combination of block and region arrival time.

QuickNode free-trial has ended now what?
I've tested the free-tier from QuickNode, Helius, Alchemy, Chainstack, GetBlock and InstantNodes
Chainstack have excellent latency (Mie-ken, Japan, 10gbit) but lags a bit regarding getLatestBlockhash.
QuickNode was always dead bottom with around 260ms and averaging over 2 blocks behind,
Alchemy, Helius and Chainstack sits at around the same average blockhash.
Ankr rate limits are awful, burned $10 in a day (and 400ms latency).
Alchemy rates seems decent but it drop requests and 300CU/s is kinda nonsense as it hits rate limits fast, even though monthly quota seems unreachable.
Helius rates are decent but Chainstack are really good.
So I went to research their cheapest paid plan, and I was torn between Helius, Alchemy and Chainstack
Due to a combination of factors, as
-Accessible at U$49,99.
-Good rate limits, 20M Requests, not CUs like Helius or Alchemy, which would equal to roughly 450M CUs.
-Best ping (160ms) for me.
-Not the worst offender regarding getLatestBlockhash (which goes to QuickNode)
I got it and highly suggest you to do so.
40k RPC calls done and not a single one failed so far, GREAT F****NG JOB.

Having a good rpc=having a good uptime๐
