The first time i met my gfs "friends" i had a bottle of wine and a bottle of prosecco and went on a 10 minute rant about how the peregrine falcon isn't actually the fastest bird.
I walk around and I see these boyfriends at dinner with their girlfriends in little triple and quadruple dates. The women are always having a blast and controling the conversation while the men sit politely and sip their beer, looking forward to the food, to paying the bill, to finally getting home. The weird part of it is that the boyfriends will look identical in style and demographic to another group of single guys howling laughing at a table nearby. You get the sense that even if they're all strangers, unfamilair +1s of the girlfriends, they'd be having a good time if you just siloed them away, because then they'd be able to speak freely and be relieved of the sense that they are preforming acceptable manhood in the interest of their gfs status in the friend group. When you're out with other couples, as a guy, there's often a silent aknowledgement between you and the other husbands or boyfriends that you are both presenting completely hollow versions of yourself to each other, and there's a quiet fondness about this, a sense that in another life you might be doing key bumps together in a tijuana strip club, but in this life you're playing cards against humanity and drinking rosé
Very common thread with modern bullying tragedies is that the parents know what's going on and make no real effort to circumvent the consistent factors. Why would you drive your kid to the bus where he's being harassed by 14 yo 6th graders instead of straight to school?
WTF is going on in Indiantown, Florida.
So let me get this straight.
The son was getting bullied, so dad drove him to the bus stop. Dad is talking to the bus driver about the black kids who were jumping on his boy. Then the black kids hop off the bus and walk up on a grown man like they’re some big bad thugs.
Usual Suspects. Acting hard. Talking tough. Until they got checked real quick.
Dad told them to stay back. They kept coming. He pulled a legal gun and they suddenly remembered they weren’t invincible. Nobody got shot. Nobody even got touched. Then dad drove around the corner, flagged down a deputy himself, and told the truth.
Sheriff said he was the victim. Stand your ground. Legal carry. No charges. He didn’t even want to press charges on the kids who started it.
And now the usual suspects are playing victim because a gun got pulled on them after they started the mess. They want that dad locked up.
You start shit at a bus stop, square up on somebody’s father, then cry racism when you get checked?
Yeah. That’s the part that doesn’t add up.

The idea of permanent stagflation makes you upset? Have you considered just eating plain crisco spread over white bread every meal, until the light fades from your eyes and you give up all hope for a better life? No? Seems like you just have a loser's mindset, then.

If you’re a single, able bodied man under 30 - spend as much time as you can posting online OR playing video games

First date idea: I take you out to dinner and ramble about professional wrestling with such an intensity that, though I insist I “know it’s not real” several times, makes it pretty clear that I do think it is in fact very real

First they came for the illegals and I said “good”
Next they came for the H1Bs and I said “good”
Then they came for the drug runners and I said “good”
Then they came for the libtards and I said “good”
And they never came for me, because I am one of them.

In this scenario had the Jewish doctor lobbied for decades to invite all the cancer cells into the body?

Actually “we did everything right and have worse outcomes than prior generations” is a perfectly legitimate grievance, one prior generations need to take stock of
If you are a young man with an attitude of “I did everything I was supposed to do, and look how unfair things are,” you are an emotional toddler with a woe-is-me attitude and you need to snap out of it .
There are many problems with the world AND an abundance of opportunities within it for anyone with the right mindset.

Life comes and goes. Nations have warred. People have been in danger and not. This is the world. An endless state of flux where we go mad when we try to see it as a solid fixed position - which we then fix. We can take care of and improve our ‘own gardens’. But worrying about the grand state of the world (of which we have no real control) is a pathway to hell. You have to roll with the waves of the time you find yourself in. Look for all the good, the excitement, the potential, the future; rather than impale yourself on comparisons of a ‘better time.’ Not to mention that having faith offers a bulwark to the shifting sands of time. Flux is the state of the world, nothing starts that does not end, nothing lives without dying, ebbs and flows are built into the fabric to reality.
