My grandma has been telling everybody I work on white and red blood cells, and researching ABO types. She's also telling them I could have worked in private for the money but chose to work in public for the people.

Check out this incredible gift to me and L from @CellAdvoKate -- an artisan-made glass B cell with a colored nucleus and interesting membrane protrusions (actin-dependent of course). Very, very special! Thanks @CellAdvoKate for all that you've contributed to our labs.
The new lego lab set from @NEBiolabs is awesome! Now I can expand on the lab I got from @thermofisher 😊
Next step is @LEGO_Group tenure!

Listening to a talk about eIF2B and triggering PTSD from BIOC410 where I was barely managing to memorize all the components of the cell cycle, transcription, and translation complexes and the binding order 🥲

It's in the especially cold corner of the fridge and got frozen.
Now it hovers there forever.

Remember this?
I felt bad for having to cut it up so I can use them as reflectors on my windows.
It has become unbearable and even two fans don't help much
Our lab members are uncontrollable snackers. Day 1 and one pack of cookies is already gone.
Thanks @MikeGoldVan @LMatsuuchi for the cookies!
