I am urgently trying to find our much-loved #cat Sinyor, who is missing from #Sigginstone, near #Cowbridge in the Vale of #Glamorgan, #SouthWales. We have searched extensively and contacted local vets and rescues. We are now very concerned that he may have been picked up or taken, although we do not have evidence identifying any particular person. Sinyor is: • Male, neutered and microchipped • Birman / colour-point type • Cream/white coat with darker grey-brown face and ears • Very distinctive bright blue eyes • Four white feet/socks • Microchip: Yes • His name may appear on records as Sinyor, Sinore or Siniore He is very loved and we are desperate to get him home 💔 Contact: [email protected] Ref: 205176 doglost.co.uk/dog/205176 PLEASE SHARE 🙏🏻 Many thanks #MakeChipsCount #TheftByFinding #PetAbduction #PetTheftReform

NEW PETITION: Require all pet microchip databases to update contact details free of charge: petition.parliament.uk/petit… Closes on 14 April 2027 Require all pet microchip databases to let owners/keepers update contact details free of charge. Keeping microchip records accurate is a legal duty. We think no one should have to pay to comply with it. Free, clearly-advertised updates mean more lost pets reunited with their owners. Owners/keepers are legally required to keep microchip details current, or risk a £500 fine - yet the 24 pet microchip databases charge inconsistent fees, from free to up to £30 one-off payments to tiered subscriptions. I am concerned this confuses owners and discourages updates. If it’s a legal duty, why should people pay to comply with it? Making updates free could remove a real barrier, ensuring the system works as intended for animal welfare and public safety.
