Indeed, the @ScotGovFM is FAR TOO BUSY saying he cares about women to meet the women who forced him to remove male murders from women's prisons where they were locked up with some of the most vulnerable women in Scotland.

Take it @JohnSwinney still hasn't agreed to meet you? Still? Presume he's scared because he will have to make concrete commitments? @ScotGovFM

In Afghanistan, if you get raped by a married man, they throw you in prison for “adultery.” If you want to get out of there — and I invite the reader to imagine what prison must be like for an Afghan woman — if you want to get out of there alive, you have just one option: to marry your rapist….if he’ll have you. But hey, at least if you’re in prison or married to your rapist, you won’t be murdered by your own family for the sake of their shitty “honor.”

I’ve always found it deeply ironic that feminism spent decades telling women: You don’t have to be feminine. You don’t have to wear dresses. You don’t have to like makeup. You don’t have to be nurturing. You don’t have to behave a certain way. And now we’re told “woman” is a gender identity defined largely by someone’s relationship to those very stereotypes. We fought against this shit. Why is society trying to rebuild it? We say no.

An NHS nurse whose male colleague continues to use the women’s changing room - despite the Supreme Court ruling, a new hospital policy and gender-neutral facilities being available. A hospital receptionist investigated for 18 months after saying trans women are not women. An ambulance worker accused of “harassing” trans people because of gender-critical posts on her personal social media. And a GP who fears the proposed Conversion Practices Bill could make parents and doctors afraid to explore explanations for a child’s gender distress other than that they are transgender - potentially putting that child on a path towards irreversible treatment. More NHS workers contacted me than I could possibly interview for this investigation into what it is like working in the health service if you believe biological sex is real. I couldn’t quote everyone. But everyone had a story. With one exception - Darlington nurse Bethany Hutchison - every NHS worker I interviewed asked to remain anonymous for fear of losing their job or damaging their career. These are medical professionals working in a health service where biological sex can be crucial to diagnosis, treatment and patient safety. Yet some are frightened even to say that a man cannot become a woman. My investigation for The Telegraph (gift link below)👇

Màiri McAllan discussing PISA results on Radio Scotland this morning: "I'm not in the business to be shocked." Well, Màiri, people, particularly parents and schoolchildren, ARE shocked at your SNP government's managed decline of children's education over the past two decades.

When did trafficking babies focus on the “rights” of those trafficking them and the why are media giving them a platform to demand their “rights” to parent a baby they ordered from a woman overseas? Take a step pack and look at global surrogacy for what it is. Like all successful commercial industries, the lucrative global surrogacy industry tailors and pivots its messaging where required to navigate regulatory regimes and deploy its marketing strategy (that’s what this interview is - marketing). The industry does this like any other industry: to engage with potential consumers, to secure supply chains (women and girls as surrogates and egg donors, or men and boys as sperm donors - remember the age of consent differs across the world, despite a child being defined as anyone under 18 by the UNCRC. The industry also lobbies governments ans opposition politicians and uses the ‘market demand’ it creates to move the dial on removing legislative and regulatory blockers. UK politics is still in its EDI/DEI fear of offence wave, so the focus on ‘the rights’ of two men who ordered a baby from overseas in an attempt to circumvent UK laws is predictably, “agree, or you are homophobic!” This focus on gay men is also, I suspect, an attempt to displace bad publicity and issues raised by the abhorrent criminal charges, including r@pe and human trafficking, of the ‘father’ (pardon the pun) of the commercial gay surrogacy market in the UK and his current husband. news.sky.com/story/britains-… Note that babies have human rights, including their identity, that the global surrogacy marketplace deprioritises to accommodate adults' wants. There is, in contrast, no human right for ANYONE to have a baby.
Adam Frisby and Jamie Corbett had a baby via a surrogate mother in the US. They tell @skysarahjane they're not legally recognised as parents under UK law. 🇬🇧 Watch The UK Tonight with Sarah-Jane Mee: youtube.com/watch?v=uzwYHOqZ…

I remember Russell Lloyd-Moyle, former Brighton MP, telling the House of Commons that we should teach children how to strangle themselves safely for sexual pleasure. His cousin had sadly killed himself accidentally by auto-asphyxia, aged 15. Just because men enjoy a sexual practice doesn’t mean that we should all get behind it and teach it to children. We can talk about the risks, and then say no. No is a full sentence and is what children need to hear. As with injecting heroin, or speeding the wrong way along a motorway without a seat belt, there is no safe way to do it. It kills you or damages your brain, causes anoxia or stroke, and clots from torn carotid arteries, and the answer is no. No. Reassuring children that you can get away with it by getting good at it is setting them up for an adrenaline-chasing compulsion, and to ever-riskier execution of it. Young women, girls, even, are getting dragged into unbelievably risky acts for the pleasure of boys and men. There is no pleasure for women in anal sex or strangulation, except in extreme BDSM, and they cause life-changing disability. Women’s skin is more likely to tear or give way under trauma, and men now fetishise anal prolapse, which they call “rose budding.” What is that like to live with permanently? And permanent faecal incontinence in your twenties? Strangulation is now the second leading cause of stroke in young women - this means permanent brain damage, and a higher risk of future strokes and seizures over time. This is a wicked burden for young women to bear in the service of male sexuality. If these practices were pleasurable to women, lesbians would be already doing them. They aren’t.

I do strangulation exams as part of my job. I have taken extensive training in strangulation and am qualified to testify as an expert in strangulation cases. The general public has no idea how bad this epidemic has become, how many women and girls this is happening to, or how dangerous this is. I share facts about it sometimes like men who strangle women are twice as likely to be involved in a mass shooting or to kill a cop. Women who are strangled by their partners are 750% more likely to be killed by that partner. I tell people that death by strangulation can occur in just minutes, under a minute if you hit the right nerve bundles that lead to certain arrhythmias. I also tell them that a woman can die from a strangulation event up to one year after the event and that a pregnant woman who has been strangled is at high risk of pregnancy loss for weeks after the strangulation event. Strangulation can lead to brain damage, physical disability, stroke, pregnancy loss, and death. I tell people that there is no safe way to strangle and that nobody has the ability to consent to being murdered, and consent is not an excuse for murder, if someone were to consent to this it is incumbent on the would be murderer to use self discipline and restraint, because a person’s “consent” to being murdered is not going to be recognized by any court as a legitimate excuse. Nobody can consent to being killed. When I tell people these things, a very few are appreciative, mostly women, some are interested, men and women, and some attack me for being stupid and not knowing what I am talking about, apparently days of professional training and hundreds of exams performed mean nothing to the “experts” of X. Those that attack are mostly men. Some argue with me about dumb things, like my insistence to call strangulation what it is. Strangulation is not choking, choking is not strangulation, these are two different types of ways to block an airway but they are not the same. That is what people argue with me about the most. They insist on using incorrect language and then provide me with a weak google link picture of a choke hold to try to prove it’s the same. So then it becomes me explaining that a choke hold is called a chokehold but it is not choking it is strangulation and that blows their minds and I am met with silence or swears. This is an incredibly important issue that needs to be discussed but it is very contentious and the defenders of strangulation can turn into rabid dogs very quickly. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate the effort you are taking here, that you are raising awareness and that you are using accurate language and data. It’s really important that we change the narrative around this subject. I would like to share this resource with you, I’m not sure if you are aware of them or not, but this was the group that did my training on strangulation. They go all over the US teaching medical professionals and law enforcement about strangulation and they have a ton of information and resources on their website. You might find them useful. Thank you for talking about this. strangulationtraininginstitu…

“Women talk more than men” In a recent study it was found that when women talked 15% of the time (and men 85% of the time), men perceived it as equal participation. And when women talked 30% of the time, men perceived it as women dominating the discussion.

This is not a simple protest. They wear their former uniforms and remind the world who they were, and who they still are. “I was a doctor.” “I was a police officer.” “I was a teacher.” “I was a university student.” “I was an athlete.” “I was a supporter.” Today, the Taliban have pushed them out of their jobs, education, and public life. Yet these Afghan women members of Women’s Courage Movement continue to raise their voices from a small room in Kabul. They have lost their freedom, but they have not lost their courage. Their voices must be heard. Where is the UN? #WomenCourageMovement #FreeAfghanistan

It's not ok that trans vandals are causing so much disruption.
Emergency services were called to Morningside Road in Edinburgh around 2pm on Thursday, 20 August, 2026 after a report that an unknown substance had been found on a lamppost. Following testing, the substance had been found to pose no threat to the public and has been removed.

So much this. I've had it with tribes. All of them. Bring on the free-thinkers, please. Those who resist, those who won't be bullied into whatever the flavour of the day is but have enough moral backbone to stand firm.
There must be a lot of people on the progressive left quietly thinking: when did I sign up for all this? You didn’t. Political tribes change. They acquire new beliefs, new slogans and new orthodoxies. You’re allowed to say: no, that one isn’t for me.

“I find it extraordinary that the police could be so ruthlessly efficient at ejecting an experienced female officer who has helped bring sex offenders to justice, and over a handful of disputed comments at work, when they have such a dreadful track record of rooting out men who abuse women from within their own ranks, and continue to make the devastating errors that allow violent offenders like Levy to rape and murder. It hints at a culture in which alleged offensive remarks about men are treated on a different scale to real violence against women, and suggests the police have a long way to go yet in addressing their institutionalised misogyny.” @soniasodha ⬇️
