Day by day I feel that with every @SW_Help journey I take I’m slowly turning into Reggie Perrin.
The new @CJWildheart album “devil” landed at mine the other day… been on repeat ever since. I have to say it is one of his best, if not THE best album he’s done. Love it! 🎶 🔥🤘
Hi @EastMidRailway no water in bog in veh 60272 on 1D26 1005 STP NOT, also bin in said facility overflowing. In both cases this was the situation at time departure from STP.
Celebrating the harvest in a church over a thousand years old with a full celebration of Evening Prayer (choral) with the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, and I mean full. @prayerbook_soc would’ve been satisfied! 😎
Hey @TheRyanHamilton enjoying the show from Delhi in India this week! Always enjoyable, especially hearing Jubilee, a new favourite old band. – at Delhi, India
Unexpected bonus this morning to find that BCP is the liturgical lynchpin here in Mumbai. I think it was @WalkerMarcus who recently remarked that it was unusual to see BCP at a synodical event. @_F_B_G_ @prayerbook_soc – at Mumbai, India
Thank you @AngelaTilby for nailing it and validating why I and others with AuDHD etc cling to/prefer/enjoy the BCP @prayerbook_soc @ChurchTimes
The first time I’ve seen a Solari departure screen since Network Rail replaced the one at London Waterloo years ago. This fine example is at Brussels airport.
Last weeks trip to Aachen for work purposes. Great to connect with people only usually see on the other side of a screen. My usual territory of railways and God 🤣 – at Aachen, Germany
Delighted to see @Captain_Deltic being emulated in this weeks @spectator by @michaelgove who starts his excellent column with His Holiness and ends with Thomas Cranmer @prayerbook_soc 👏 – at Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen
One for @prayerbook_soc 👇
I had a good 1662 BCP week, highlights for are: Wed MP, Litany and EP at home (Common Worship HC locally), Thurs Quicunwue Vult, Fri MP, Litany, BCP HC (locally) and EP at home. Not too shabby. @prayerbook_soc
Old news for some but new for me…
Chiltern Railways’ services and Great Western Railway’s services will transfer into public ownership on 20 September 2026 and 13 December 2026, respectively.
Hi @_EvelynHollow @ciaranokeeffe @danny_robins as a cold case, take a look if you will at the Burton Dasset lights of 1643 and 1923. Quite the history to the area as well which could be of interest!
Had a fully compliant day of BCP @prayerbook_soc MP, Litany and EP at home and HC in Petersfield today. Only fly in the ointment was that HC had the Common Worship lectionary whereas at home I use the 1662 version.
Hey @TheRyanHamilton listening to the @JorvikRadio show from Delhi India on catch up again, back to UK next week.
Hi @TheRyanHamilton listening to your @JorvikRadio show on catch up all the way from Delhi in India. Great tunes as always keeping me entertained whilst I work.
